Event V coming up in less than an hour!

Event V: Volunteer’s Dilemma ×9

In this event you will be grouped into 2 groups of 9. This event ends in about 24 hours from this post. You must whisper me your action, if any. This event does not have the conventional points system as seen in Events I and II, however the next round probably will.

In your group you were all having a nice horse-ride at Bluji’s fancy, luxurious mansion when all of a sudden one of the horses got injured. Coincidentally, you all happen to be veterinarians whom specialise in treating horses, and as a result you are all capable of curing the horse. However, if you do that, you’ll be doing that whilst all the others are playing some of the ol’ Xbox. If you volunteer, you get +0 points. However, if you don’t volunteer and decide to play Xbox, you get −1 point as you’ll be having fun. If no-one volunteers everyone gets +10 as the horse will die and you’ll have to go to the horse’s funeral. If you’re in the second group you’ll instead be at Jaskaran’s mansion playing PlayStation 3.

If you want to volunteer, whisper me “I volunteer” or something. If you don’t, there’s no need to send me anything. So TL;DR: volunteer +0, do nothing (and play games) −1, if no-one volunteers +10. I don’t think I need to have examples here as I’d say it’s pretty clear.

Sure. Why not.

What if more than 1 person volunteers? Does the amounts of points they gain increase?

One person volunteering has the same effect as nine volunteering: those who volunteer get 0, those who don’t get −1. And if no one does everyone gets +10 again.

Why do I always get inactive partners.

Best strategy, dont volenteer and say it :P, the optimaal strat would be to not volenteer to increase points relative to others, but the event was well tought out and there are 2 groups. :(

Event VI: To Share or Not to Share ×2

In this event you’ll be paired into 9 groups of 2. This event ends in about 24 hours from this post. You must whisper me your action. This event has the conventional points system: −7 for a win, −4 for a joint win, −3 for participation, and +5 if you do nothing.

This event is similar to Event II: To Share or Not to Share ×3 but with less people per group. You must whisper to me whether you want to steal or share. If the both of you share, you both get −4 points. If one of you shares and one of you steals, the person who steals gets −7 points for stealing and the person who shares get −3 for participating. If you both steal you both get +0 points.

If your pair doesn’t whisper and you do, you get −3 point. The player who did nothing will get +5 points. If both of you do nothing, you both get +5 points.

Example 1: A steals, B shares. A successfully steals and gets −7 point. B gets −3 point for participating (because at least he whispered me something).

Example 2: A shares, B shares. They both get −4 points.

Example 3: A steals, B steals. They unsuccessfully steal and both get +0 points.
