Turn-Based Strategic Warfare


Welcome to SquadFS. This is a turn-based game in an arena where you move around, shoot, and try to outwit your enemy with an array of weapons and strategy. There will be 8 players, split into teams of 4 each, and they will attempt to capture the opponent’s flag to end the game. As you get hits and kills, you gain cash, which is used to get different weapons to help your situation. Good luck soldier.

In SquadFS, there is no such thing as HP. Instead, there is a “damage” percentage bar. Once this reaches 100%, you are killed and respawned in 2 turns. There is also a “fatality” chance on each weapon, and a “damage” on each weapon. Everytime you hit an opponent, you roll the fatality chance+any damage already taken adds to it. If it is not a kill, then you add X damage to the opponent.

Everytime you deal DMG, that is how much gold you earn. If you get a kill, you gain 50 gold. You gain 35 gold for getting the flag.


Each player gets 7 moves, but each weapon has a set weight. Weight reduces the amount of moves. Players may hold a primary and a secondary weapon, and one utility.

How many actions can you make per turn?

I count 5 entry points into each side of the map(ie. Blue has 5 routes to enter Red’s base). There are 4 players, so they can all hunker down at chokepoints and defend their flag forever.

Also another tactic would be to rush all four players forward in one tightly packed group. They switch positions every now and then to “spread” the damage out amongst them. (eg. if I take lots of damage I switch places with a healthy comrade)
