Introduction

Welcome to the Tournament of SKY RAID! Men and woman who are willing are rounded up time and time again to participate in this spectacular event. Taking placeuponislands floating in the sky, the map is diffrent each tournament. If you scout for a land, chances are it is floating nearby, waiting to be discovered. Monsters are imported from a variety of other Skylands to condition and train those contestants who are willing to fight. Many will walk in, but only two will survive after it becomes a free-for-all. Good Luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

Rules

This takes place in a land of swordmen, necromancers, cats and pop culture refrences.

You may do basically anything, but there are constraints.What you can do basically ranges from picking locks on chests and stealing fruit at a market to destroying entire islands, what you cannot do is pull out a bazooka and fire it. If you take your time, you may craft a bazooka and ammo. Guns are allowed, but are harder to find ammo for then bows.

You may bring up points I missed, or I calculated wrong. I will fix them as fast as I can. You can argue your case if what you think you rolled does not match the result.

You may also craft items to wear in order to help you increase your potential or protect yourself. They take up certain spots in your equipment screen, and you may only equip so many at any time.

You may transfer one handed weapons from main-hand to off-hand and vice-versa. Equipping items does not take a turn away.

Everyone begins with a skill attributed to their character, their personallity or how they react.

There are three diffrent types of reaction for how action goes.

Regular rolls are effected by regular roll modifiers such as being rested, fed, or in a group. These are the most common type.

NRN’ means No Roll Needed, this happeneds if you do something that does not require a roll to tell how well you did. This includes moving from island to island or equiping items.

‘Misc. Rolls’ are the second. They are unaffected by roll modifiers, and are only changed by luck. They include opening chest or determining who goes first in a Contesting Goal.

There are also things you can do that require no turns. These include equiping and unequiping items.

You may not look directly for chests, but you may do something considered risky to look for a chest.

I take battle very seriously. I take the literal meaning of every battle, even if I do know what you are trying to suggest. It you say “Turn his men against him” You will pivot them. If you say “Convince the men to fight against their master.” You will persaude them to fight against him.

Team up with anyone, build up anywhere, or take the fight with your personal army. There are may ways to win this game.

A fire golem has been terrorizing the lightly wooded forest, setting everything on fire. We want his to work more proficently, so take control and have him follow your directions to cause the most damage before do-gooders appear. The secret words to control him will be given out on acceptance.

A dragon resides in the South Western Grasslands. His tail contains a good amount of material for alchemy, and to create an evil potion. His scales on the tail and his flesh are the two main component of the tail. If you cut it off with percision, that will be better. You will bring the tail back to Kingdom Land.

Was trained and taught by one of the best mage clans of the world. they focus more on healing and life but do have some damaging spellls. however his appearance at the floating lands is not by choice: his clan’s main settlement was attacked by an army of thieves and evil forces which the clan was fighting for a while, and lost. Nacrom is one of the few survivors who managed to teleport in time. However, teleporting in a hurry made the destination unknown, and hurt him. He seeks to go back and re-assemble the survivors in a resistance to defeat the evil forces around the clan’s area once and for all and to become the new leader of the clan. But for now, he must gather resources and train further: for without further training and experience he cannot seek revenge against so many enemies with few allies to help.

I sit in the saddle of my faithful battle-tortoise Philip. “The Turtle Island is somewhere around here.” said Phil, battle-tortoise extraordinaire. “Yes, I can feel it.” replied Philip, in a deep, rough voice. One of experience and and wisdom, almost the opposite of his companion Phil. “Well, the faster we get there the better.” Phil said. Philip nodded in agreement. They both knew this would be a difficult journey. Phil was nearly useless in combat, relying on Philip for fighting. Phil, on the other hand, had the knowledge. He had the plan. Alone they weren’t very special, excluding the fact the Philip is a 10 ton turtle with the ability to fly, speak, and he had lasers. Okay, Phil wasn’t special, but long story short, they make a good team.
[And so begins the adventures of Phil and Philip.]

(Everyone is on the Grasslands right now. It is seperated into North Grasslands, South-East Grassland and South-West Grasslands. You may choose where to begin, but if not, it is North Grasslands by default.)

Yes, two thread are open as Sky Raid 2.0 ended and is locked, while 3.0 suggestions is also locked.
