Explanation:

Xenadian is simply a siege based game. You begin with a 5×5 grid, then choose 15 ‘words’. You can combine these words for better features, and multiples of a same word allows for more and stronger versions of those words. However, the bigger, better words require certain words before it.

Killing enemy forces gives KPS, up to 15 per foe. Gain enough, and you will unlock the right to more words. If an enemy destroys your citadel, however, he will gain 100 kps and a free word from your word list, plus all your forces and map will be out of that match.

To increase the size of your grid, the word ‘Extend’ does so. Good luck.

Sample Unit Layout
You don’t control this, I do!
There may be other stats as well, but these are the normal stats.

Name:
Hits: your life meter, a capacity.
Stamina: used for special abilities.
Manna: Also used for such. But stamina recovers, this normally doesn’t.
Food/Fuel: Slowly drops, don’t let this run out!
Attacks: How many times you can attack or use specials per turn.
Moves: How many times you can move or do actions per turn.
Actions: Combines attacks and moves together, pretty much. Separate, but totals are limited to this.
Atk: Damage to hits. Just reduce by def. There are 3 versions: physical, magical, and special. Lowest value is min 1 point, no lower than 1/15 the amount.
Def: Pretty much the opposite of attack.
Range: How far you attacks can execute. Will state the factors involving range.
Speed: Simply determines who goes first each turn.
Specials: Plenty of these. Be certain to well examine them.

The laws!!!

Sorry, some laws are here to keep the game honest. Please obey them.
I don’t want to talk about them, but it’s important that you know some of them.

(1) One unit per space, except fliers.
(2) You can {usually} only deploy to your own map.
(3) Units cannot deploy in range of enemies, both to and from.
(4) If your gone for more than a week without telling me, you will need to remake your player.

Scoring Additions

(a) If you do not abandon, at the end of each round, you gain 25 kps for each person that entered.
(b) Securing a citadel grants you 100 kps and you can take one of his words. Limits apply…
{c} You gain 35 kps per day you are active on here, growing by 5 for each day past the 3rd in a row. No exceptions on this, even announced leave. max is 50 per day.

List of special/advisable words revealed:

Map – gives more maps and lets you design them better based on other words. Size for maps is always the same for each one.
Expand – used to increase the size of your maps.

Diplomacy/Negotiation – Alliances and such can be established by these words.
Empire/Government – For most of the bigger words, you will need advanced management words. Won’t be easy to earn.
Finance/Income/Economy – A few obtained words that yield income and bonuses on such.

Plenty of other words like this, just think intuitively, mainly.

No, it’s not. Its a tactical grid based game. Look at the explanation. Sorta an offshoot, but rather different. Basically, you gain varying tactical assets based on the words you pick.

Well, the concept is good. Unfortunately, I know from past experience that you’re liable to screw up the execution, developous, plus you yourself have inserted yourself into the game as a player; hence, I’m going to have to pass on joining.

What is it with your ‘host joining his own game’ thing? The execution is bound by rather straightforward moves and actions. It ALL pretty much numbers and mathematics pretty much.

There is no way the execution could be screwed up, so I think…

Those are population figures. Higher amounts make them stronger and more generally.
Let’s see….. analyzing these words.

Darkness

You may attempt to blind up to 35 times. There is a 70% chance of success each attempt.
Due to your dark level, you don’t need to say where you place your forces anymore.
You begin with 12 skeletons(1 kp each), here are their specs:

You may cast 8 lightning bolts. Does 18 damage each, ignoring defenses. Always hits.

Ambush – This unit may begin in range of attacking enemies, and gains a 50% bonus to attack that turn.

Dark itself is not such, but the skeletons are part of ‘dark’. They are generally good attackers, as you can see.

Now, gameplay is simple. You can place your forces and assets on the map at any time you wish, given enough room. But you must place at least the citadel right off the bat.
Other than that, speed determines who goes when. On a tie, it goes alphabetical.

Lastly, you cannot place forces in range of attacking enemy forces.

Just 2, but you must convince them to battle.
It’s up to you to decide when your ready, and who you challenge. Further, multiple games at once are allowed, but be reasonable plz.

Fire
You may cast 20 flame shards. They do 18 damage, with a 15% chance of burn, but defenses apply.
{burn: reduces def by 30%. Presently lasts 3-5 turns with you)

Blade

You get 65 daggers, 12 swords, and 3 broadswords.
Dagger: upps atk by 2 pts when quipped, along with granting 1 more attack. Range is 3 spaces, but lost when thrown.
Sword: upps atk by 3 points, and you may reduce atk by 1/2 to attack all adjacent enemies.
Broadsword: upps atk by 5 pts, along with def by 3, but you loose 1 move as well.

You get 12 swordsmen, as well.

Guard – 12 stam. Requires fortify active. For the next 3 turns, if any enemy attacks, it must attack this unit first.

Maybe you should have made it 15 Words but you can have up to 5 Words total…so there would have to be duplicates.
