[Game] Natural Disaster: Flash Flood. SWBR. Accepting more players!

Last year, local eco-friendly science officer warned everyone that the world would be underwater in a year if they didn’t do anything.

Its one year later.

No one did anything.

The floods have come.

Do everything you can do to survive. Not only that, you have to save everyone else.

Perk list:

Selfish. Have more life, but if you save someone, your health goes down. Save 20 people, you will be to weak and die.

You will become a selfish person when you say “USE SPECIAL!”. That basically means you are really fast, so you can grab other peoples weapons and livesaving equipment, and use it to save yourself.

Eco-Friendly. Is very clever and can make plans very easy, but that plans won’t harm the environment. Everytime they think of a plan, there intellegence go down.

You will become a friendly eco person when you say “USE SPECIAL!”. That means you will think of a major plan that will protect the environment, and find a place to stay for the night.

Life Saver. Can save people without being harmed, but there speed and health will go down.

When you say “USE SPECIAL!” all characters will teleport to you. Even if they are about to die, they will teleport to you.

Bad Guy: This will allow you to kill a innocent human, by drowning them. All your stats go down everytime you kill someone.

When you say “USE SPECIAL!” all NPC (Non Player Characters) within a ten metre range will die.

Greedy: Gets 2X amount of levels you get when using stat points.

When you say “USE SPECIAL!” the amount of stat points you have will times by 4! So…. If you have ten, you will have 40. Then, times the amount using the ability, and you get 80 stat points!

Ammo Storage:
Can hold a lot more ammunition than usual by having a backpack or some other storage thing; If you say “USE SPECIAL!” it gives even more storage space as well as some ammo

Use Boost to Get Through:
Allows short bursts of speed but makes speed go down each time used. SPECIAL: A much longer burst of speed and agility(jumping and what not), but also makes speed go down.

Extra Breath:
It takes a longer time to drown. Special: Makes the defense and Health Static for some time, harder time to drown, but takes your speed down.

You can use your special 1 time per week.

Stat points: 20.

You get 20 stat points to start. Spend it on your stats. One stat point will make one stat go up by one, unless using the greedy perk, which makes each stat point raise one stat by 2 levels.

Mission List.

Mission 1: Realisation.
You are spending a week on holiday. It has been raining constantly for the last 2 weeks. Everyone begs for it to stop. Unfortunately, this is the day that it would stop. For the people that would drown. You have just noticed that the water from the sea is over-flowing. The protective barriers to stop the water from coming in have started to collapse.
Do what you can to survive the first wave of water. This is the weakest one, but it can crush trees and pull cars out to sea.

Good luck, and try to find some survivors.

Appearance: Tall with yellow eyes and short black hair.
History: When I heard the warnings, I knew that nobody would listen. But I knew it would happen; I knew things would go downhill fast. So I prepared. I learned how to use a gun and crossbow. I learned how to properly wield a sword. I learned things like parkour running and other sorts of agility. I learned how to swim. So when it came, I was prepared. And now, I will survive this hellish water world.
Job: None (I went straight out of college into training.)

2WOC: Railgun/Molecule Cannon (prototype; fires molecules at near light speed which decimate things they make contact with, continuing until they impact something very hard and thick, like a concrete wall)
Appearance: Brown hair, hazel eyes, dressed in a white lab coat over a grey shirt and trousers.
History: English in origin, he did well at school, allowing him to get a well-paying desk job in New York’s Empire State Building early on, and eventually become an even better paid scientist in the 3rd-to-top floor. This allowed him to legally have his own gun, an AA-12, and also test out prototype weapons, like a molecule firing railgun/cannon, which is what he was in the process of doing when the flood came… he survived because the flood did not reach to his working floor, and he now has to consider how he will survive, along with quite a few other scientists on the same floor.
Job: Scientist on the 3rd-to-top floor of the Empire State Building.
Perks: Ammo Storage (can hold a lot more ammunition than usual by having a backpack or some other storage thing; special gives even more storage space as well as some ammo), Greedy (What can I say? I like having doubled stats.)

History: Was on a space mission. When headed back home, the flood started to happen and there was no way to save the rocket ship. The other crew members had fell down, drowning in the water. Bill Nye luckily jumped out, unfortunately letting the space ship break

History: I knew the warnings were serious but they wouldn’t listen. I told them over and over, but they still wouldnt listen. I had to take things into my own hands. I quit my job and prepared myself as well as i could for the disaster. Now my job is to survive this hellish world and save as many as i can.
Job: Was a government assassin but quit after the government wouldn’t listen to him.

I am testing out a prototype rail gun, which is actually more of a molecule cannon, when all of a sudden I notice there is water coming up the window. I look out of it, to see that New York has almost completely flooded.
‘Ohhhhhhhh my God.’ I say out loud. I run to my office, and collect my AA-12 and a large amount of ammunition too. It’s surprising how much ammunition the pockets of a lab coat can hold.

So i was right…

I run outside, baring my gun. I see a survivor about 20 feet away, i jump in the water and swim close to him.

I step out of my house into waist-high water. I wade through it till I reach the street. There are numerous cars here, so I climb on top of one and begin to jump from car roof to car roof, making my way down the street.

[Uh, the Greedy special quadruples how many unused stat points you have, not your actual stats. That’s why I removed all my stat points except for one on health to keep myself alive as I started the game. Therefore, speedy250 and Fogfun can’t do that.]

Yes BCLEGENDS, you are right. But remember,m you can earn some stat points.

I ran outside and decided to go on the london eye. It would allow me to see everything. I bought a ticket, went on, and the london eye went to the top. I relaxed, a smile on my face. The smile was whipped away as i saw some water crash through the thames barrier. And it was heading towards the london eye!

I swore. The water was crashing into buildings. I looked out of the glass container. The water was smashing through buildings now. People screamed as they were crushed underneath the immense weight of the water. I panicked as the water crashed into the London Eye. Nothing happened afteer a while. Then, the eye started tipping over. I screamed. I smashed the window, leaving a big, gaping hole. I had a plan. I waited until the eye had nearly hit the ground, and jumped out of the hole. The eye crashed onto the floor around me, but the hole was big enough for me to stand up in. I smashed the window and leapt out. The water seemed to have stopped when it thit the eye, and is now just waving there. I swore. I ran forward. The water started moving again. It started to follow me. I swore and leapt onto a balcony, then began climbing up,. The water didn’t destroy this house though. I clung on, the pulled myself up.

Well, now what? I’m trapped on the top three floors of the Empire State Building with a bunch of other scientists, two guns, some ammunition and pretty much no food, probably.
Oh, and my intelligence. That will be very useful for formulating an escape plan. I get the other scientists to start thinking, then do so myself.

I walked slowly, and then ran as fast as i could.

I finally think of something we could do. I get the furniture from the accessible parts of the building, and get all the scientists to tie them together with their lab coats into a massive raft type thing. I consider the possibility that the raft could lose bits from the parts that aren’t contacting the coats, then tie the outside sections of the raft a lot tighter than before, to prevent any such possibility from occuring, then check all the sections of furniture to make sure none of them will fall out. Satisfied, I push the raft over to the window, collect as much food as I can, and get all the scientists to climb on board.
There’s no surefire way we can expect this to float, but it’s the best chance of surviving we have.
I get the AA-12 and shatter the window.

I leapt off of the balcony, hoping for my feet to me dry land. I was unexpected to find that freezing cold water was what i landed on instead. I was dragged away from the dry land and into the current. I swallowed a mouthful of water and attempted to grab onto anything i could. I managed to grab onto a branch. I held on for all i could. I then felt something cold slam into me. A car.I pulled myself onto the car, then leapted off, noticing a tree on dry land. I grabbed onto the branch and saw somone trying to grab me.

I let go of the branch and grabbed onto the hand. I was pulled up safely, hivering madly. I then hugged the peron that pulled me up. Luckily, it was a woman. Any normal person would think i was just trying to thank them. But that was wrong. I pulled my Shark Machine un V9 from my pocket, relieved to find it was still dry. She didn’t notice. I put it against her back, then pulled back the pump.

That was when she noticed. Her eyes widened. She was about to scream, but i fired 2 shots into her back, leaping out of the way before they could hit me. She fell over and screamed, putting her head between her hands. Anyone would think she was just devistated. Nobody was arond. That was the good thing. The bad thing was that the water was rising. I had to do this quickly. I put my gun against her head and fired 5 bullets. The girl doped o the floor, the lifeless ees staring up at me. I screamed and flew up. I was slammed against the wall by an invisible force. I was aware of somey energy draining away. I hit the floor with a thud.

…the raft doesn’t really move. Well, the water is only just reaching the level of this floor, so I guess that could be expected. It is just about floating with the weight of the other scientists on it, so that’s good – this means it should float readily once out of the building. I push the raft out, with the help of some of the other scientists, then leap on with them as it slides into the huge sea that was once New York.
I guess we’re at the mercy of it now.

Hmmmm…. Probably because of the move from OT to FG….

I got up and swore. That was bad, whateve it was. I started moving forward, leaping over cars. I saw some people hanging onto a tree despearatly. I pulled them up, then walked away. I had to pretend to be good. I had to rendevouz with someone.

I manage to get the guy to safety, I swim out to a bunch of people trapped in a car breaking thier window open and pulling the people out swiming them over to the balcony where i put the first guy. Then i feel something hit me in the face i grab onto a branch, and i hold onto it as it goes downstream.

I was getting tired. But i couldn’t. Stop now, i would die.

The raft is holding out fairly well, but it isn’t very stable – already, we’ve had to pull three of us who fell into the water back onto it. We will need to find some other shelter soon, or we’re almost certainly doomed to a watery grave.
