The scene opens in a quiet suburb known as Myrlian, far from any other civilisation. Ahh, the peace, the quiet… the serial killers disturbing said peace and quiet…
…yeah, that would be this so-called dystopia’s fatal flaw. Some murderers have begun killing people off every night, and now there are only a few left… and these few have decided that enough is enough! They call in a team of specialists to handle the more specialised killers – an FBI Agent to investigate several cases of people’s internal organs being ripped out and left with teeth marks in them, a psychiatrist to help find the causee of some particularly gruesome deaths, and… the last remaining firefighter in town. Well, there have been several burned down buildings recently, including that of a cult, of which only the leader remains…

This mafia is based mostly on the third-party mafia game roles, which can be found here. First come, first served in terms of night kills. Basically, the roles are as follows:

Town
Are fighting to kill off the Murderers by lynching them. Does not matter if Neutral people survive once the Murderers are dead, but the Cult need to be killed off as well.
Simplified Win Conditions: Kill off Murderers and Cult.
Townies
Basic guys. Nothing special.
FBI Agent
Called in to deal with a cannibal, will check whether a person is the Cannibal or not (Yes/No). Becomes a regular cop if the cannibal dies, who can detect whether someone is on the side of the town, murderers or neither (Town/Murderer/Cult/Neutral).
Psychiatrist
Will try to heal someone performing some particularly gruesome murders. Looks at one person every night; if this person is the Psychopath they are healed, and become a normal townie. Once the Psychopath is healed or killed, the Psychiatrist becomes a normal doctor, who is able to protect people from any of the Murderers.
Firefighter
Like a doctor, but can only defend people from the Arsonist. Once the Arsonist is dead, becomes a normal townie.

Murderers
The Murderers count as a mafia group for basic intents and purposes, but they are all against each other, and the game will not end with a Murderer win until only one remains.
Simplified Win Conditions: Kill off every other player, including each other (if, however, the only players remaining at the end of the game are one Murderer and either or both of the Survivors, they will all win).
Serial Killer
Basic serial killer. Not psychopathic or anything, just likes killing. Can only be dealt with by lynching or night killing.
Cannibal
Rips people open and eats their organs. The FBI Agent can find out if he is a Cannibal, but otherwise he cannot be stopped unless lynched or night killed.
Psychopath
Performs particularly gruesome tortures upon his victims. If checked by the Psychiatrist, will be healed, and becomes a normal townie. Can also be night killed or lynched.
Arsonist
Likes to burn buildings down, with people still inside them. Can be prevented from killing someone by the Firefighter (or Psychiatrist, once the Psychopath is sorted out), but otherwise must be killed via lynch or night kill.

Cult
A separate group that must be killed off by the town as well if they want to win. Sort of like a recruiting Mason mafia, but without night kills.
Simplified Win Conditions: Recruit as many players as possible, and kill off the rest.
Cult Leader
The only survivor of a fire that destroyed the main cult building (I wonder who did that? XD). Can attempt to recruit a new member every night, but will die if he attempts to recruit a Murderer. If killed, no more people can be recruited for two phases (i.e. one night phase and one day phase), and then until the remaining cult members decide on a new cult leader. Once all the murderers are dead, the cult leader cannot recruit any more cult members, and will not be replaced if killed.
Cult Recruit
Newly recruited cult member. Will retain abilities owned before becoming a cult member, and the first recruited will become the new leader if the original dies; if the first recruit dies, the second recruit will become leader, and so on.

Neutral
Unsided people that have specialist goals; see the role descriptions for more information.
Jester
That guy who was never actually that funny. Will win if lynched; will lose under any other circumstances (i.e. night kill or just surviving). The game will continue if the Jester wins.
Simplified Win Conditions: Get lynched by the town; can win by lynch or by survival if recruited by the Cult Leader.
Survivors
Survivors of some of the Murderers’ attacks. They do not really care about killing them any more; they just want to survive the horror.
Simplified Win Conditions: Just don’t get killed!

That applies to Murderers only, as they are the only group with night kills. Basically, they are all against each other as well as everyone else, and the first Murderer to submit their kill choice to me will get it in. The others will have to try again the next night. It’s a matter of speed, really.

And yes, the Cult CAN talk privately, but the Cult Leader is the only one who can submit a recruit or night kill request every night.

…I mean, do you REALLY?

EDIT: I have decided that the Cult Leader simply stops recruiting and does not perform night kills once the Murderers are dead, as either one would leave the town in a similar situation.

I’d just like to say this, though: if you complain at all if you get killed, or if anything else happens to you that you don’t like, I will not hesitate to permanently ban you from ALL other games I create. Just saying.
