How to use command line tools

Aug 14, 2007 10:01am Spartan478 22 posts Flag Post	Can anyone tell me how they are able to make flashes with just command line tools? I dont have the money for the actual Flash and need to use an alternative. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I know where to get them I just dont know how to use them. Something like swfmill and haxe because I heard they are a good combo.

All you need is Notepad to type your flash programs & haxe will compile to flash .swf You can use SwfMill to embed assests like pictures & sounds in your .swf visit www.haxe.org – its open source & free I have made games Sertal & SnakeSnack – you can find them in kongregate ( iam just a beginner so small games)
