i am inside a Movie Clip and i want change the Scene 1 but i can’t. I use “parent” but it doesn’t work. Hope somebody help me…
Try to be more specific so we know what your problem is. What do you want to change about Scene 1? Also I am assuming you are using AS2 since you wrote you are “inside a movieclip” is that correct?
Try MovieClip(parent) instead of just parent
I have the Scene1 and the MovieClip. I am inside of the MovieClip and when it reaches a frame, i want change a variable of the Scene 1.

_root.myVar
That said, if the movie is not currently in scene 1 then it won’t effect scene 1 and you should stop using scenes.
