I would love to get some tutorials for using flash, I have the MAC OS verson of it.
(most recent version.)
if you know of any tutorials for that with AS 3, i would be happy to try some of them, and hopefully get programming =)

Thank you very much, I will try that as soon as a get home =)
EDIT.
that seems to be for CS 3, While i understand that it still works for CS6, it would be a bit easyer if it had screenshots of CS6,

You could also consider getting a book off Amazon or somewhere. They’ll tend to be very beginner-friendly, a lot more detailed, and cover a wider array of concepts.
Here’s the one I used when I first decided to learn AS3:
Foundation Game Design With Flash
It’ll get you acquainted with the Flash CS environment, and each chapter will teach different concepts using a different type of game as a case-study.

part of the learning process is learning to become flexible very quickly.
It will be a good learning lesson for you to attempt it anyway.
After all, this is a long enduring road your wishing to embark upon, might as well take the high path.

Don’t bother buying books. You don’t need that Imo. You can learn AS3 for free. You have YouTube and Google at your disposal. I recommend learning to make a simple platform game from Youtube, then upgrade and to around with the engine.

This is a really good place to be to learn on kong http://www.kongregate.com/games/UnknownGuardian/game-development-room-gdr
Shadow_Craver you are sooooo wrong. Books are so much better! Even though I haven’t learnt by reading books it is still one of the most accurate ways to learn.
