I’m currently working on a game in JMonkey, which is an open source 3d game engine for java. It is capable of outputting applets, which could then be called via javascript, which should be able to be used with the Kongregate API.
I am curious though, as while I’ve read that Kongregate has the capability to have applets, I haven’t actually seen any. This may be because no one makes games in java, which is what I am expecting, but does anyone know if there are actually any applets hosted on Kongregate? Especially one with badges, because these instances of communicating with Kongregate are things I am expecting a bit of difficulty with.
If I can find an applet on Kong I’ll ask the developer what kinds of problems they had getting their game up, and such, but I haven’t found one yet.
Also, if there ARENT any games made in java on Kongregate, that would encourage me in a different way, as it would be cool to be a pioneer in that respect.
Tl:Dr I know you can put an applet on Kong. Has anyone done it yet?
