So this link was of no use, despite the handy “code used” segment which showed exactly how collisions are detected?

Or this link which is the documentation and indicates that collisions are handled via a function?

Or the half dozen or so other links that show the same thing?

(GIANT HINT: There is no “if(colliding)” check)
