i think starling punk was out a bit before thisss/
A lot of these advanced features are quite cool (especially components) but the problem I see is that the more advanced the programmer, the less likely he is to use something like Flashpunk in favor of his own framework.
perhaps this will allow “idea guys” to try their hands into making games, and if they’ll succeed at something, it’ll be good for everyone?

You still have to type out letters on your keyboard. As long as making games takes any effort “ideas guys” won’t jump on the bandwagon.
