One game a month page 4

Well, I didn’t find out about #1GAM until recently, but I’ve used the last day or two this month to get a little headstart on my game for February. I’m chasepettit on Twitter and the 1GAM site:

Basically, I am expanding on my avoidance themed games.

6 levels, 2 worlds, 2 boss fights, 2 shops, and a whole lot of smileys!

Every 2000 points (on world 2 its 4000 points), a plank is built. As you could guess, the planks form a bridge.
You can buy awesome stuff in the shop: pick-ups, extra multipliers, and upgrades to the arcade mini game!
Also, every level will give you coins, +10% score bonus, and a new look!

Ha, yeh. Market is getting a revamp. In fact the whole game got redesigned. It looks and feels way different than I originally had planned.

Just a bump in case you don’t see it, but I would really appreciate it if my February game would be added to the list.

Hey, sorry… spent very little time at my own computer over the last few weeks but I’ve trawled through everyone’s 1GAM account and updated the original post as best I could.

Best pull my finger out and submit something of my own! At least if it sucks I can show progress through the year ;)

I love how I try to commit to this and it just doesn’t work out. We are in month 3 and I haven’t submitted anything, nor am I prepared to submit anything for this month. :D

I feel so sluggish. Its weird. Yet, I’m working harder than I was before. I’ve now got 4 game licenses (3 for mobile), 2 collaboration games, and 1 team game on my queue of stuff to get done as fast as possible.

I believe the challenge will continue even after the initial 12 months, and even if it didn’t it’s a personal challenge just keep it going!

Updated what I could, removed a couple who are no longer registered on the site for whatever reason and added InfernalWater.

Would be great to have some games on there by the forum regulars. No pressure; if you’re busy, you’re busy! We’re above the 1GAM ratio of games to entrants, at least.

This seems really interesting. I like making games, but get no motivation to do anything other than preliminary design. That said, I have started working on my card game again (Uno clone) and I have most of the art done for my point and click adventure… Perhaps this will give me the motivation I need.
