How do they make the player animations match the music that is being disposed, for instance, in a dnb sound, when the music drops the animation matches it really good, and i’m pretty sure it’s not random or coincidence. Does anyone have an idea?
My bet would be, flash reading the .mp3 file sound wave and matching the peaks or something…
Give me thoughts peeps !
I have never worked with sound and flash together in such depth before… But yep, they would simply be reading the data of the sound and visualize it. As you say they do this by the drop of the music, it sounds like they’re basing it on the current volume of the sound.
I bet you should be able to find plenty of tutorials upon playing with AS3 and sound.
