Hi Everybody,

[I wrote to Kongregate and asked if it was okay before I posted this. If I’m in the wrong place, I apologize – please let me know where I should post this sort of thing.]

I’m developing a new version of my website and I’d like to license 4-6 attractive 2D games. We’re looking for a few simple puzzle or word games, a “woman’s game” and a “man’s game.” I might need to have the developer modify them slightly to remove any internal advertising or links, and I’ll need to know how to gather high scores so that Members on my site can log them. Over time, I want to rotate the games to keep them fresh, so I may need more than 6 – depending on popularity, they might only be posted on my site for a few months.

I don’t need exclusivity, and don’t need games that are brand-new. I’m just hoping my Members can use these as low-impact time wasters.

We can pay a flat licensing fee or a monthly fee, and I’d rather have lightweight games that don’t require something like the Flash Media Server. I don’t have a budget that will make anyone wealthy, but my site is not advertising supported, so I need to license the games without external links or advertising.

If anyone has games they’d like to license, or a game portfolio that I can take a look at, I’d be happy to talk more. I know I could go through some of the game pages here and contact each developer separately, but I thought I could start by posting here.

thanks,

-Max

You might want to post in other websites too, this place may not help you… I can’t and I don’t know how many others can.

Make a posting on the MochiAds forum. You will likely get a lot of responses.

Could you post an email address that you can be contacted via?

MAybe, you should just give a shout to kalinium, you don’t want your e-mail on the forums. I learned that the hard way…

More good tips. Thanks Henry… (And yes, I was wondering how I should handle that communication.)
