I need to learn actionscript

please help i have flash and need to learn actionscript pereferably free (im only 13) all advice will be taken in but it must explain why each code is being used so i could make my own codes!

I’m just starting out too, I’ve made my first game and learned just by googling and asking a couple questions on here.

www.actionscript.org I recommend learning it, making your game, then downloading the trial on another computer, transferring it, fixing bugs then uploading it because you can’t learn actionscipt and make a good game in only a month.

I recommend about six months of practice before you think about submitting something – I’ve been doing this for five or six years, and it takes me at least that long working on one… Apply yourself! If you’re thirteen, you have a ton of free time, and if you really get into this, you’ll be a pro in no time!
