Reuploading Deletes Save file.. discussion on Kongregate

Hey All,

When I upload an edit to a game, I’ve found that the save file is totally erased. Any ideas on how to update a game without forcing the players to start from the beginning again?

Email greg with the file and he can get it manually uploaded so the saves don’t get erased.

This has never been an issue with my games. If you’re maintaining the same filename and not messing about with the code to manage the saved games, I can’t imagine why it would happen.
