Collab Petition!

I have suggested this many times, never really got an answer:

This is a petition to add a collab function to submitting games! It doesnt have to be as advanced s NGs but it should be enough for us to choose how to split revenue at least.

How does the payment for a collab work atm, is it paid to the submitter and then the splitting arranged outside of kong?
If so, that seems like a good idea and I’d be happy to give my sig :)

I can’t imagine this would be too hard – emily said that Alison hand-sends all the money anyway.

Whilst I don’t see why a petition is needed, I’ll support the cause.

It does seem like something they would implement, as more and more people are working together.
I will add my signature to this. I may never use it, but if ever I do…this is something I would want to insure there was no cheating on the agreement.

The work is more about displaying authors and tracking the revenue correctly. It’s on the list, but there’s always been something we need to more urgently. But if the petition gets long enough, it will definitely help push this up the priorities list.

This is something that should have been put into place a while ago. It would be a great feature, I am all for it.

You can add me, but not on the bottom of the list, I hate being at the end of something.

emily: Couldn’t a manual system be put in place temporarily? ie, if you’ve got a game that’s going to earn a reasonable amount of revenue and you’re collabing, email Kongregate. Then, when it’s time to pay, the revenue is simply split in two and sent to the two (or more) authors?
