Your problem is in your post, you say you go to the recommended server. Recommended doesnt mean server with lowest amount, so go to one that says “Low” or “medium”. Also, if the problem still persists, its either your internet connection or your computer. Another thing that helps me is to end some processes in my task manager, i always end Steam when i turn my comp on.
