I’m just going to say I fully support Pete. He’s the best artist we have here and every single person could learn from him. I haven’t seen him act rudely toward anyone, or troll, but simply share ideas that are beneficial to us as a community. (Satire should not be considered a breach of the ToS)

The forum’s dieing as it is, do you really have to chase away someone who’s willing to contribute? I’m still peeved at the loss of Pete’s big thread, which was updated more regularly than even Prophets of Pixels is now, and had a stack of resources and ideas in it.

I understand Pete’s being sarcastic towards mods now, but whichever one it is who has the grudge against him, could you let it go? Please?

I for one, want the chance to hear what he has to say and learn from him. I think most of the artists (and this IS the artists forum) would agree.

I’m super pissed that this forum seems to be moderated by nitwits. I’d LOVE for it to be a place to throw out seriously good work, with people that come to it because it’s vibrant, diverse, and prolific.

Apparently a fellow patron that has had an account for one day, yet seems totally prepared to interpret the TOA for me, (a patron for over 5 years), claims in a private message that my original post was “unchaste and impure.”

So, the Arts Forum is held to a community standards like this?

I sincerely felt that there was nothing wrong with my post, and it took a long time to create. I will NOT be censored based on a standard that I do not understand, and that is not rooted in the best-interest of the patron but rather of mods or individuals on the lookout for “unchaste and impure” topics.

Yes, I’m experienced. I’ve been an art director in the gaming industry for over 10 years, (and a professional graphic artist for 20). I’ve performed or commissioned thousands of illustrations. I have written two instructional books, one in its second edition that has sold more than 15,000 copies. I currently work for a celebrity nonprofit as their programs director and have visibility to branding concerns from a very high elevation. I am friendly, sometimes funny, and it seems that I might be the kind person Kongregate’s arts peers, gaming patrons, and executive staff might not want to piss off.

Oh, and no mod ever did explain to me why my post was deleted. However, in private messages one (who was involved) has informed me that I should just drop it because I’m being annoying.

I wish they would just apologize and admit it was a mistake.

Here’s some art. Not that it gives this thread a snowball’s chance in hell of persisting.

(There’s NOTHING a mod dislikes more than to have their performance questioned. That’s the symptom of a petty tyrant. One will do it.)

Why does it look all beat up?

We’re fine with sharing art, but as rawismojo pointed out, it’d be better to post all your art in one thread. What you have been doing is spamming up the forum with multiple pictures in separate threads.
