I created these character designs, and I’d like to know what you guys think, keep in mind this is a work-in-progress, and they should be getting better later, but for now, here are a couple of them.

I’ll wait for you to improve the images before I comment on the character design so I’ll leave you with a few small tips.

  • Characters are usually defined by their clothing and hair so focus on those first and foremost.
  • The perspective is off in the second image but mainly on the feet.
  • Practice drawing similar poses of characters you’re used to so it’s easier to apply to your own original designs.
  • Most importantly of all, keep drawing. The more you draw the more you improve, well, if you try to improve you will.
