As of right now the section is still there, but you can’t upload any new art or sounds to it. Sometime after the new year, the section will be removed entirely from the site. We’re encouraging users to use sites like DA or SoundCloud for hosting art or music portfolios instead of Kong because they do it better and we don’t have the resources for improving these sections without slowing the progress on features that matter to most users, namely ones involving social gaming.

DA isn’t that bad. It may have stuff for the more…perverse artist…but its meant to be a community of artists of all types. Don’t worry about that. Your artwork will fit right in. :) Just sharing that tidbit.
to be honest, i never knew there actually an art section here.
i’ve had my stuff on DA and was wondering where else i could put it.
