Kongregate Easter Banner

I made an easter banner for Kongregate :D!

About it:

Lately, I’ve been trying to raise awareness of Jazz Jack Rabbit, an abandonware game featuring a green rabbit and a lot of weaponry, food and enemies. Since it’s been rumoured that the last JJR community site are really pushing to get the rights to the game + the engine, they’re aiming to achieve this and start on JJR3 this year, and since it’s such a great game, I figured I’d use the easter level for a Kongregate Easter Banner (for kicks) :)!

I basically screenied a small portion of the start of level 1, pasted it across the banner, and tweaked it so that it didn’t loop completely (you’ll notice that the eggs and the chocolate bunnies and placed differently).

This took a good 30 minutes, but I’m pleased with it :).

Your thoughts?

The purple floor doesn’t really fit, and ‘Kongregate’ letter look a little scrappy. Good job with rest though.

And the number of players playing games is just text, if the staff ever actually used this as the banner (which would greatly help as far as raising awareness of JJR goes), not keeping the text is less editing for them to have to do :).

Mm. I think I’ll try and make one (but don’t get mad at me if I don’t :P). Also, I remember playing Jazz Jackrabbit as a kid! I can’t believe it’s really that popular :D.

Well, through the taking of sizes from Jindo’s bar (thanks :P) I have created what I want to be the bar. http://s108.photobucket.com/albums/n6/RedKnightBlue/Easter-Bar.png I hope everyone likes the simpleness of it. I was considering adding more, but more = work xD and I thought it looked nice already.

Billy, I’d say chocolate eggs are a pretty important part of modern ultra-commercialised Easter (not that I prefer the real one) and that’s what the basis of these banners are, so there should probably be some on the banner we choose.

xD… beside of that it’s pretty cool ^_

ahh… and i’ll tell something i would like to see in your banner: another bunny easter egg in the right side of the final “E”, something that may complete the space on the end of the banner or try to make the easter eggs with some space between them to make it more spacefull, a bunny white and not yellow, more details on the grass.
