Recently I got a new camera. Today exately.

One problem.

I try to take a quality picture myself. Top half is sky, bottom half is landscape.

If I try to take the landscape part as the majority, the sky just looks like a white blob. Though the landscape is the colour I would like it.

If take the sky mostly, making it nice and blue, the landscape is all dark. Although the sky is the colour I would like it.

Taking it in the middle is both of the bad things.

I have not operated a camera in quite awhile, although I am unsure at all what is wrong.

Know anything I can do?

Personally, I’d choose a different backdrop. Also, you must be taking this in daylight, no? Check where the sun is. Maybe you have your camera set to a night shot or a different lighting. Most cameras now have settings for different lights and sometimes you can customize a blend of the settings to get the perfect light. I hope this helps…

The day after I posted this, I lost my fancy $250 camera. No more solutions will be necessary.
