So I’ve been looking at all the great work here, (so much talent here) and I figured I would post a few of my own. My art tends toward the fantasy/ sci-fi genre and has always been heavily inspired by the dark world of Royo and the pin up style of Olivia de Berardinis, as well as almost every artist featured in Heavy Metal. Not all of my art is SFW but I’ll post what is.

Im a huge horror fan so I was working at “feminizing” the horror greats:

Well thats about it thats safe to post here. The others contain some nudity so..yeah. cough I’m currently working on a Sorceress series I intend to submit to a local gallery, so I’ll post those when they’re done.

Well, As I said my art is mostly inspired by those who typically draw the strong

female form. Royo, de Berardinis, Rio etc.

Also, since I’m female I have great points of reference if you will. smile

lol i guess so… anyway there are really 50 times better that i could draw so i’m dead jelous

in highschool for some reason every teenage girl wants to draw these. you should try something less cliche.

Well thanks for your opinion I guess. I can assure you I am not in high school. Cliche or not, I’ve always had a love for fantasy art, so I’m fairly happy with my results.

i cant really give specific enough advice for you unless i know what process you use exactly to make these. do you use exact refs, do you sketch out a skeleton first, etc.

Well I wasn’t asking for advice, I was simply sharing some art… lol thanks though!

I’ve been drawing for about 15 years not only with pencil but also charcoal and more often than not digital now. For some I have people that pose for me and some is self representation. Others are strictly imagination of the things I enjoy.

I’m sorry you don’t like my subject matter. Unfortunately these are the only ones safe for posting here, but my subjects aren’t limited to what you see here.

though in retrospect i actually would like to see you make/post something different. also what gallery exactly? you wouldnt be submitting these digital ones to a gallery, so there has to be some other mediums. id like to see some samples of those..

Although everyone appreciates encouragement for their work, I am not looking for anything here.
I was simply sharing some art as many other people have done in this forum. I did not post
asking for tips and tricks although I try to use all “constructive” feedback sent my way and
always have. As I said in my first post the bulk of my work contains some nudity which I won’t
be posting here. Sorry.

Nothing you have said has been constructive which is unfortunate. You sound like a
fairly intelligent guy.

As for the gallery it is local to my city and yes, it has a digital arts section
where patrons can view the work online and then purchase a print if they wish.
It works much the same as deviantArt.

nice, I used to really like Heavy Metal I was more of a fan of the short stories and cyber punk trade paperbacks. Not big on the dominatrix concept but when Jill Valentine busted into her first scene in RE2 (movie) firing off like 250 rounds or Miho diced everyone in her path in Sin City.. well daaaam they were hot, hahahahah. I’m a huge horror movie nut too!!!! and si-fi of course, I have to watch horror movies alone though cause i hate people blabbing about how nothing scares them, i get way to into movies regardless of how bad the ‘cinematography’ or ‘dialog’ or ‘special offects are or whatever excuse poeple use to avoid letting themselves get drawn into the movie and possibly having to admit their not fearless.. k i’m just ranting and need sleep (night shifts r lame) if you have not seen it yet watch the movie Sunshine by the guys who made 28 days later.. maybe the best movie ever… in my books.
