Metallic Knights is absolutely magnificent. I love MultiLockOn’s work.

I tried Easytoon for a few minutes and it was much harder than Pivot. They are both made by the same people though.

ZOMG, i got replies, and not “OMG u r stupid pivot waaay bettah!” awesom.

@keez- its only like pivot in the fact that you can make stickmen, if you work on it a while youl realise theres not many other similarities.

@matt- right click for erase. you can set eraser and pen size at the top.

@blind- yes, it is. i atualy like multilockon more, but WR is the best fullbody (as opposed to stickman) ani out there.

@guy- Multilockon pwns. also, dont give up on easytoon cuz pivots “easier.” pivot is easier for beginners who do simple things like punches and kicks and stuff. once you get into more advanced things like particles andexplosions, easyoon is waaay easier. i find i can make an easytoon in half the time i can make an “equivalent” pivot animation. pivot is good for learning how animation of stick people works.

@evryone- if you have questions ask on the easytoon place. Jeckos (one of the admins) can answer almost any easytoon questions you throw at him, and hes on fairly regularly.

i’ve been mucking around with it for about 1 hour and it takes some mastering but i managed to make one… i know its shit and it really makes you appreciate how good those guys actually are (either that or i’m just crap, probaly both).

Swet looks good in an avatar. Look at mine its basic shading to test.

@matt- not bad for your first. a good way to learn is to wath some of the masters’ animations frame by frame, or even just watch em. ive seen metallic knights over 50 times, W revenger like9 times, and the doorbusters like a million times.

@monkey- yes, they do make good avvys, except i cant figure out how to get my avvy on kong to not cut off after 5 sec.

I know this is gonna sound really noobish but… in version 1.9.9 how do you get it so the next frame is the same as the current one?

Doesn’t sound noobish. there are 2 ways. one is copy/paste, and the other is copy and mask. you’l wana use copy/paste, cuz copy mask is a little complicated, and you wount need to use it until your pretty advanced. First, make sure the pencil tool is selected, then press Ctrl and C to copy, go to the next fram and press Ctrl and V to paste. you can also copy and paste in the edit menu.

And if you like easytoon, join the easytoon place and introduce yourself in the entrance hall.

truefire it cuts off after 5 secs because the kong servers only can handle 26 frames :\ gonna try it then repost in a bit

i been workin on 1 for the last 8-10 hours. so far i got 400 frams, and i mgoin to bed. ill post it whn complete.

i have no idea how truefire but people have extra large avatars(bigger than 40×40) so somethings can’t be explained. Oh and awesome program :)

i’ll be making a few cause its fun and an ice change from pivot, might take me a while to make another as i’m being swamped by h/w but hopefully sometime soon

@matt- HW… good luck with that =P. als, its good if your a pivoter, cuz using pivot teaches basic body physics that really helps with easytoon.
