Well while we have all these threads allowing you to request specific avatars, we are yet to have someone offer backgrounds to the people making these sigs and stuff, which is why I’m offering free backers to anyone who wants one ;D.

A bit of detail in your request would be nice.

Stuff I’ve made to use just if you need. Will add moar later.

Oh the original topic I posted the guide in got deleted. So here’s a guide I made to making backers I made.

Start off with a gradient using the gradient tool.

Apply Filter —> Distory —> Twirl

Set a high angle.

Ctrl + B and change the colours to a nice colour (I did something electric blue)

Right click on the layer and change the options on Outer Glow

Do something similar to this.

Filter —> Blur —> Gaussian blur to make the edges more nice and blurred.

Set a medium blur, but leave the spiral shape intact.

And here are the extra steps to make it look more awesome.

Go to Filter → Render —> LenFlare

Place a lens flare in a nice position with fairly high brightness.

Go to Filter —> Render —> Difference Clouds

Finished result.

Furthermore, you can play with Difference Clouds, Clouds, Ctrl + B, Ctrl + I and any other Filters you deem nice.

thank you I love it! another request- an ocean background but its under water not the surface so have lots of depth and maybe a sillouette of a whale or something, and I would like it by friday.
