Welcome to Tainted Design, a new design thread for all types of art, But with a difference
My thoughts before creating this thread were:
I want to create a thread, for artwork and requests, although theres already loads of them, so should i? The only problem with the other threads is that there seems to be a lack of organization.
So i started the thread, my number 1 priority being organization, and the first part of this is the 6 point policy.
Let me explain:
Firstly, there will be a commision section on the first page, and this is where our members will be able to see which commisions are avaliable at the present time.
Secondly, the group would like work from members to come fairly frequently. If a member does not produce any work for a prolonged period of time, then i am afraid they will be taken off the members list. This means that you know who to request from.
Thirdly, for those wishing to commision some work for the group, there will be a spotlight of the best work produced by Tainted Design. To help you see what we can produce.
Fourthly, If the commision form below is not filled out correctly, then it will not be posted on this first page. This means we dont get half requests.
Fithly, you will be able to find finished commisions on the first page, as long as they were finished less than a week ago.
And finally, the Rules are definite. End of.
The whole point of this is that anyone who wants anything done can have it done, just after posting their request form, and then by having it ready for them on the first page, they dont need to trawl through loads of pages.
For the members i am making it so they can see art that needs doing easily, and also get complete requests, so they dont have to chase up information.
The reason i have the member policy, is simply because members who collect dust arent any good. Members collecting dust and not fullfilling requests when asked to causes problems for the person looking for a produced piece of work.
Oh, and just another thing, members will recieve rank points from each commision completed, or artwork posted, please see the form below for more info…

Please note that you will recieve 5 base points for each art competition you submitted work in, or helped work with in. You will then recieve 5 bonus rank points for each won battle as a team and more 10 bonus points if you submitted the winning piece.

Completed Requests at present:

Any member failing to complete commisions for a prolonged period of time will be removed from the members list, after having been declared inactive with an (I) after thier name.
Any flaming, or direct insulting of work will result in removal from the members list, depending on the seriousness, if it is not serious, there will be a temporary ban indicated with (TempBan). If the user doing so is not a member, depending on the seriousness, they will be placed on the Membership Refusal list and on the Commision Refusal List. Please note that this does not mean that constructive criticism cannot be given about work.
Any repeated posting of requests or spamming, depending on the extent, will result on placement on the Membership Refusal List and on the Commision Refusal List.

Here are the current contests running, and the rank points recieved for 1st,2nd and 3rd.
Heres how judging works:
Each judge voted for thier top three in order, and 1st place recieved 3 points, second 2 and third 1. These scores were then added together to achieve the final score.
Avatars:
These will recieve 1-3 rank points for the finished product. This will depend on the commisioners/my opinion of the finished avatar.
Approvals:
These will recieve 1-4 rank points for the finished product. This will depend on the commisioners/my opinion of the finished approval/seal and the approval/seal’s complexity.
Seals, Signatures and Logos:
These will recieve 1-5 rank points for the finished product. This will depend on the commisioners/my opinion of the finished seal.
Banners:
These will recieve 1-7 rank points for the finished product. This will depend on the commisioners/my opinion of the finished banner.
Art(In general) and Backgrounds:
These will recieve 1-10 rank points for the finished product. This will depend on the commisioners/my opinion of the finished art. This will vary depending on the size of the request.

Hm… are you from England? Most people in America spell realized with a z and organized with a z. I’d recommend fixing that to appeal to more members. There’s not anything wrong with it, I was born in England, but it looks funky to some people in America, which is 2/3 of Kongregate.

Why do you want to join? (A short paragraph will suffice) Because I’m hoping this will become very active so I don’t sit here at times waiting for something happening and I always want to do request but I always fail no one request and it dies or they ask for really hard things
