Hmmm? Photograph? Well… decided to make a quick one.

I used the picture I took that I currently use as my wallpaper. :) Then I did a simple glassyish boarder. Comments? (I made the brush too!) :)

I mostly just meant the render/stock had to come from a photograph (real life) as opposed to anime or a videogame.

so kinda like the rockem-sockem robots sig in the last one?

Yeah. As long as the focal/render is from a real-life picture.

Any idea on how I can improve on this?

Take a soft brush and paint some white at low opacity over the edge of the focal to make it look like light coming over the edges. It took me a really long time to figure out what I was looking at and I think that might help.

Photo/stock It isn’t really real life but it is sorta a photo. Your choice if it counts or not.

Ugh, can’t find a decent way to get rid of those funny edge bits (that are covered up (badly) in that sig).
I think it might need more contrast too.

I don’t think it really suits the theme that well, even though it could be a photograph, I think it’s just a little too digetalized.

It fits the theme just fine. I could have worded it better, but I meant using a real-life stock/photograph instead of a drawing or videogame character.

What if I took a picture of a video game? :?

The colours (like on the face and hair), make the sig seem kind of fantasy type, which is… okay, I guess. It is an interesting sig, and the size is quite unoriginal. It took me a minute or two until I started seeing how good the colours were, but at a quick glance I didn’t appriciate it. I would be catious entering this in, it may be only me that likes it. It is very smooth and easy to look at I reckon. It blends in with the background easily.

Don’t say that!!! He is great with colour.

i hope i can do a good 1 this SOTW… just have to fit it in somewhere and do it ^^
