Make a Kongémon!

Here’s your chance to get into a game I’m working on :P.

Whether you like it or not, you’ve all heard of Pokemon, and you probably also know how it works.

Basically, there is going to be alot of battling and things to do in this game, so I’ll need to make alot of images.

But I’m short on ideas for monsters/kongemon/w.e, so I need you guys to design some :).

Ones that I like will be drawn into the game.

Simply draw a Kongemon, and post here with picture, name and (optionally) pictures and names of its evolved forms.

They can be as strange and random as you like, you can even draw some creature-form of yourself, and name it after you =P.

I am totally in on this. If I am part of the elite four (am I still part of the elite four? D:), I have to have my own Kongemon.

Also, I like the ones you’ve drawn so far. :D

Cool, so just a few questions about this game. Are you gonna have all the in-depth stat systems of Pokemon…Including EV’s(Note: Thats some extremely in-depth Pokemon stuff, you probably haven’t heard of it)? If I make some Kongemon do you need the type(s), stats ect.?

I’ll work the stats and types out :).

The stats will include the basics, Attack, Defense, Agility, Accuracy, Sp Attack and Sp Defence.

There will be four elements (or types), Water, Fire, Earth and Thunder, there is also Normal (not an elemental kongemon).

The reasoning behind the elements is I’m trying to aim for a Pokemon-styled game, with the battle system and such, but I’m also trying to go for a Jade Cocoon style (storyline+other little things), the story will still involve obtaining badges to fight in the League, but there will be so much more depth and much more to do than just venture to the next place ;P.

Ok, cool. I found some good links on EV’s. This stuff might get too complicated for a Flash game though.

I drew a Kongemon on paper(and it came out surprisingly good, for me), but due to my lack of skill and software, it scanned badly. =/ Someone with talent or skill or one of those clever things need to clean it up for me. Pwease? :3

i’ll try to post some here but they will look like shit, don’t be scared when you see them.

^ That won’t be a problem, all of the Kongemon that are used will be redrawn in the game by me, so that they all have the same style :).
