Critter Skill Calculator

What it does:Allows you to plan future critters without looking up 1 app at a time on the Wiki. Also allows players to compare their actual skills to the expected ones and improve the Wiki

How to use it:To use the calculator, just put a 1 in the blanks next to the critter or desired apps, on the Input page.(You need to remove the 1s already in place on apps or critters you don’t want.) After your critter is all setup, you click the results page to see the information.(the other locked pages are just there for macros and debugging)

How to improve the calculator:The information on the wiki(and the calculator) isn’t complete or fully accurate. If you notice a difference between your critter and the result you can post a screenshot displaying the critter, it’s skills, and it’s traits. Anyone wanting to do actual work on the spreadsheet can just message me and we can talk about getting you moderation permissions.

The current link:http://tinyurl.com/26y8ayv (The spread sheet changes in real time, so multiple users inputting critters at the same time will conflict. I will create more copies and links if needed. You can always download it for your own private version if needed)

Vandalism: The calculator will probably be vandalized often like the real wiki. In reality fixing this is much faster than it takes the vandals to break it. So to the first vandal who just wasted 5 mins of his life :P

Just tried it out on my new tort though and it’s a little bit out. Here’s what the calc said:

The Wiki is pretty poor on Tort info. Do torts get an inherent: Parry B, Parry attach, Damage attach?

That spear II B is coming from Unicorn Horn I’d guess, but going to wait and see if it pops up in more Unicorn horn critters before adding it. There is also an extra damage piece in the first Tort. (not sure of it’s source yet) The 2nd Tort has 3 physical damage pieces that I’m not sure on. Other than that the differences should have been fixed thanks for posting them

Dragon, and it’s apps

order kinda backwards there…and sorry i couldn’t just post the pics. I don’t have paint or any program similar to that on the computer i have right now :/
The skill calculator is missing a few skills. And this dragon has close minded so i want to find the indicator if we find the missing skills, and the one that doesn’t have a explanation.

I have a hornet named HighHopes… because I’m hoping it has CFoc as foreign, but… as you can see in the below pictures it’s appendages are frog feet, small horns, mandibles, bristles, insect wings, and scorpion tail. The traits listed in the calculator are missing one because I have all those on my hornet besides the air one, and when I lvl up I have one other to choose from… I’ll figure out what that missing one is, and edit it into this post (if you can edit posts here). Here are the pics:

Edit: In the skills image, I have 3 groups of 2 rows of skills. The middle group consists of the bottom row of the top group and the top row of the bottom group just to show those are all the skills that my hornet has.

As you can see it’s missing a few skills (Speed 2T, Strength 2T, one more Slow 2T [I’m wondering where this 2nd one is coming from], one Speed attachment, and one Duration attachment). The third pic also shows my other hornet, and you can see it in the background, that it has the same appendages, and it also has feeble, which is not mentioned in the calculator.

Note: HighHopes is a mutant who didn’t lose an appendage (thankfully :D), but she has identical appendages and skills to my other hornet that isn’t a mutant, and that’s the hornet with the other trait that isn’t mentioned, so… it’s really no different :P It’s just like if I had taken pics of my other hornet’s stats.

Your dragon’s skills are identical to mine. I don’t think mine has close minded but I’ll try and remember to look when it hits 145. As for your calculator picture it looks like someone else was messing with it at the same time as you. Plugging in a super dragon I get different results.

Fixed the str II T and Speed II T. I’m not positive on the slow II T yet I’ll look at it more later. The speed attachment is possibly from scorpion tail the wiki has it listed on the speed page with a question mark next to it.( will wait to see a few more scorpion tail critters with an extra one to confirm it) the duration I have no idea on. you get 1 from horns 2 from mandibles 1 from scorpion tail and 1 from hornet. There is either an unknown combo there or hornets give 2 durations and 1 isn’t listed in the wiki.(it’s not cfoc for sure no indicators)

I updated my post with the other trait that I can get (feeble), but what are the indicators for cfoc?

The known indicators for Cfoc are 1 Duration and 1 Heal attachment.

I just made a lizard with spiked tail, and rhino horn, and for some reason it has Crush 2B.

In the skills pic I have the skill window in the background so you can see the skills, and a pic of blah (not going to keep it :P) in that pic as well. The calculator is missing the Crush 2B, but is accurate with everything else. I’m guessing spiked tail + rhino horn = Crush 2B because I don’t think either of those on their own give it.

EDIT
Also have another wolf, fuzzy antennae, pincers, and lion’s tail, that has everything right except it has 5 physical damage attachments. Not the 6 that the calculator indicates.

And another wolf with antlers, mandibles, and pincers that is correct except for it only has 1 speed, not the 2 that the calculator indicates.

Same apps as JaySoEcchi. Only foreign is cfoc. Has reasonable though, when Jay doesn’t.

retry on my dragon. I did see some slight changes with some skills, and for some odd reason, even after double checking, i never got a nimble trait on the second go. the first time i did however.

Has anyone had (or seen) Confusion II B on anything else than Fish?

I got Evil level 3 on a fish. I don’t think it’s foreign, since no ancestors had extra evil, but the wiki only knows two places evil comes from.

In case the picture is unclear, it’s a fish with Breath Attack II B combo and superfish combo.

If I had to guess it’s some combo from the dragon apps. Not impossible that it’s a foreign trait, but it’s unlikely.

That would be my guess as well, but I’ll let you know as I get more information.

I have heard legends of Foreign Evil before, as two dragon apps is only 2 Evil, and you have 3. What other pieces?

Looks like it is probably foreign after all. There was a picture back in the Tracking down the foreign traits thread I never noticed.

Calc didn’t predict Heal II T, Slow II T (although wiki got this one), Dispel Deteriorations II B, or one of the Restore Health Points attachments.
