I’m trying to make both the Light Shield and the Dark Shield, but I only found one Kite Shield so far. I’ve been searching everywhere for a shop selling it, but still haven’t found it. Any advice?

Fallen Soldier drops the kite shield, but I’m not sure where to find one.

Does anyone know where I can find a batwings?

Bats of all varieties drop them. Try the Gem Mines- they’re low leveled and, IIRC, have a pretty high drop rate.

I’d like to know which party members are worth investing efforts in.
I was pretty unhappy after two of my party members were lost in episode 2.

Which characters can I depend on and level up, in hopes of keeping them in the next episode?
Unless the ending does not provide such information, like ep 2 did…

Anyway, I like Solaar and Gloria, also gonna add Legion to that when I get him, as I’ve heard that’s a good character. Wonder if I’ll waste a lot of time levelling them just to have them walk away on me again… :/

denguen (or what is his name) will probably return in chapter 4 because he isnt 100% dead so he may return somehow
emela is alive have a good chance in retuing anyway you had to train them anyway so it dont a waste at least you also trained mardek

can someone help me in beating the superboss: Karnos… I think i’m having a hard time cause my party sucks =S my party is Mardek, Solaar, Verhn, and Sslenck… So I’m just asking if there is any way for me to win using this party? and can someone also tell me if there is any merchant or shop that sells any mirrilixir?

Does anyone know where I can get some Light Essences? I went looking in the SOLAK temple, but all the monsters were gone… :-/
and @Zenth, I think that Kite Shields are dropped by the Fallen Soldiers you find in that necromancer’s house in the woods.

Edit: Ah, just found one in the area outside the Miasmal Citadel. It’s in a chest to the left of the door to the Dark Temple. A shop in the western part of Airopolis also sells some.

i beat the security deamon that is a really nice boost to my party members that a shame i cant fight them anymore
and at least i can go to the north part of the map
i really recommend defeat it use noxius bomb to poison it and then just survive
i used:
mardek (i have another choise?)
solaar (resucite)
zach (that attack that increace his power every time used)
Gloria (air null once againts the tunderstorm)
beat it in your 4th travel
sadly i couldn’t bring legion because i dont have it yet
bring some phoenix down too

francis, gloria’s cauldron should be able to make mirrilixir’s

Where can you find a rogue fairy? I havent encountered ONE yet..and i really want to get fairy dust for Legion…

complete chapter 3 and I really dont want to spoil this but after you defete the last boss or complete the game, you should get it, you can’t get it unless you complete the game, all 3 songs you will get automatically but it’s hard not to help you without spoiling so just complete Mardek 3 (you can create another save file and complete it on that one just for the songs) =D good luck

Oh yeah! I finally defeated Karnos! and i thought it was impossible for my party.. Mardek, Solaar, Verhn, Sslenck.. and i just wanna say thanks to sneakdog for telling me about the mirrilixir.. it was a great help in fighting karnos..

How do I get Gloria to add Lifewood to my map?
Do I need her as a party member for that?
Please help, could not find the answer to that anywhere.

@Cloudyday… You should talk first to Elywen at lake qur.. with Mardek only without the other members… after she joins your party, try talking to gloria again

Hello. I have Mereador in my team and all the components for bringing Legion to life but when I enter his lab nothing happens. I have clicked like a vile loop on every single pixel of the lab until my ‘x’ became an ‘f’, nothing happened. Plus, I have no quest saying anything about collecting stuff for Mereador which makes me conceptualize my sheer fuckage. Was I supposed to activate some sort of deal with the old fool before I hired him ? Please someone prove me wrong, cause it’s impossible to fire an ally, I’ve checked.
I’ll just F5 every second from now.

Did you get the tome from Saul’s house?

Because you need that as well. You also need Gloria in your team.

Monsters(the name IS monster) in Animus’s Dungeon/Rexasaurus in Earth Temple/Punk Monsters in Dark Temple.

Old, but if you’re still needing an answer, there are two kite shields in chests in Ch 3, so you don’t have to farm fallen soldiers unless you want them sooner than you have access to the chests. (I’m pretty sure one of them is in the Earth Temple, and I don’t remember where the other one was, though I think it was fairly early in the game – a lot sooner than the one at the Earth Temple.)

But the BEST way is farming Monsters in the Dreamshrine.

Sandflow caves. I believe it was behind the red gem doors.

can someone help me beat animus? my party is Mardek, Solaar, Sslenck, Verhn.. so is there any possible way to beat animus with this party?
