I just have a question. In Mardek’s Cambria Arena, to get the solo arena checked does that mean beating the arena with EVERY charector? I would easily be able to get it if I didn’t have to do it with everybody, because I wasn’t leveling everybody up.

Yeah, you have to beat EVEYBODY’S solo arenas. That’s what makes it hard. Although really, with proper strategy, you don’t have to grind your underlevelled characters.

More than anything it’s just endurance. Given that this is just the third chapter and how much time I’ve invested so far though I cringe when I think about how high the timer will be by the time Mardek’s journey comes to a close.

considering the quality of the game so far, I would not complain if it were upwards of 300 hours.

Thanks, I realized I could just give all my weaker allies 10 fires, lightnings, earths and water liquids, and give them a hat that curses them and gives them a M.Shield and Shield

It’s easier to use items gotten from Karnos and Animus, though, if you haven’t gotten them dead yet, then that hat is probably the best thing you can do. However, my strategy has been to give everyone the Rainbow Disc, Scarab of Protection and (if possible) the Night jacket. This gives you near immunity to all natural elements (depending on the element of the character, you will have slightly less resistance to the opposite), absorption on dark and a very slight chance to resist all status effects. And having everyone with 15+ of every elemental bottle helps against the enemies you may be weak against or can’t normally hurt.

45 hours and I was done with everything, including all solo arenas, and say add another half hour for King and Qualna

Is there anywhere to easily train under-levelled allies for the solo arenas?

I paired up my lvl 40+ Mardek and Gloria with two of my low level characters in Miasmal Citadel. Helped them lvl to 25 in no time at all and makes it very very easy to complete the arena. (lvl 25 in solo arena is more then enough, bring some consumables and equip em with + VIT items and scarabs)

ps.
Buy the elemental items that cause fire/air/earth/water dmg. It’s awesome for specific counters during solo arena.

The problem with elemental pots is that if you started a new game in ch3 you don’t have access to Gope, which means you can only buy 30 of each pot. It was plenty for me but you still have to be cautious. As for underlevelled chars, I didn’t train anyone, Mereador was lvl 10 when I got him in the arena and he flawlessed it.

Where can I buy those 30 pots if not Gope?
