ones that havent been listed: GG Allin, The Descendents, Suicidal Tendencies, Crass, The Flatliners.(i see a few of these bands are mislisted.. being hardcore, actually but whatever.) i cant belive somebody listed X.. lol. i cant stand X…(not why im suprised.. suprised coz most people on here cant tell dogshit from a fish fillet when it comes to damn near anything..) theyre one of those bands that for some reason are labeled punk but sound like garbage nonsence.. whatever.. i dont care if they were popular at the punk clubs they played. oh, and the clash will never be punk, its more pop rock with a ska influence than anything.. but at least theyre a good band. sex pistols are garbage and sid vicious was a pansy that couldnt even play bass for the first many years he was in the band. |

Originally posted by Crass: The first two Clash albums were definitely punk. I’d still consider London Calling a punk album as well, but with a very strong rock influence. After that they experimented with alot of other genres. But yeah….. The Clash fucking rule. |

If you’re just responding to the person directly above you, there’s no need to build a quote pyramid. |

Clash was punk I was gonna list Bad Brains punk, but they themselves call themselves hardcore idk, if we name hardcore bands in here as punk, because it is technically hardcore punk, then we’ll have to start naming “pop-punk” bands, eww |
