RAP BLOWS!

Rap was an art form, until some buttcheese ruined it in the ‘90’s. Now its all about shootin’ poeple up and getting laid. Go back to the ‘80’s man, try GOOD rap like tag team, or even Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, they dont sing about shootin’ up some guy becuase the slept with his girlfriend. Give some feedback, and tell me why you think rap does or doesn’t BLOW HARD!

I agree. Rap now is terrible. If you can talk fast and have the rhymes of middle schoolers you can rap. Not much talent there.

Modern rap isn’t terrible, but it’s not something that I would choose to listen to. I thought that Kanye’s latest album was very good, but that shit from Fifty Cent sucked. Kanye has that more electronic and pop feel, and is fun to listen to every once in a while. Fitty on the other hand, is monotonously rapping about bitches and bling, and I’m sick of that.

And like you said, classic rap is awesome. I’ll take a nice Run-DMC album any day.

Mainstream rap is terrible these days, everybody can agree with that. You gotta look at the underground hip hip for the real “rap” these days like aesop rock, mf doom, atmosphere, sage francis, little brother, rjd2, stuff like that. Thats the good stuff.

the main thing that bugs me, is how can the majority of the music culture be controlled by rap? do people listne just for the beat? that it definately not considered listening to music. to listen you need to hear the lyrics and the message the song gives. i just hope people that listen to new rap dont hear the lyrics, becuase if they do, then they are listening to rap for a very bad reason…

I like to listen to rap because most of the time the lyrics are hilariously cliched.

Raps good when it adds something new to the table, not rapping about the same old stuff with the same old music in the background

well first of all rap dosent entierly blows . Theres still some good artists out there like akon ,t pain etc…. what i dont like about rap is some ppl say its all bout gangbanging ppl shotting . i mean u can be a gangster even if u dont do these things . u ppl should just be open minded about some rap music dont be haters its just music . and by the way old school rap is the best .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I can stand some rap if the writing is good, but i’d never go out and buy a rap album or something.

i don,t like rap but it’s at least less horrible when they don’t talk about gettin’ laid, female genitalia and shooting people for no reason whatsoever.

I hate all rap, the only genre i hate more is country.
