Any one can play the drums or guitar. Music is distinguished by the singer. Do you think anyone else could sing like Rick Astley? No then you would just have a beat and a roll.

Dexter Holland from The Offspring and Tom Thacker from Gob are my favourite.

I love the lead vocalist from the Gorillaz. His cartoon name is 2D, but I think in real life the person singing’s name is Damon Albarn.

It just has this sad, quiet, sleepiness to it that I love so goddamn much.

I like Jaret Reddick the most, from Bowling For Soup. I dunno why. I just really like his voice. Coming in at a very close second would be Brad Delp of Boston. Shame he passed away, though.

Axl Rose from Guns N’ Roses. He has such a distinct, unique voice. You instantly recognize him as soon as starts singing. Theres no mistaking his high pitched screeches!

I’d have to say Isaac Brock from Modest Mouse or Jack White from The White Stripes.

Recently I have been getting into Joy Division and getting used to Ian Curtis’ depressing but great voice.

Hard to decide. Um, either Axl Rose (GN’R), Layne Stayley (AiC) or Matt Bellamy (Muse).

Most of the grunge singers of the 90s all had very powerful voices.

Having said that, Layne Staley is definetly one of my favorite singers. An unforgettable, unmistakenable, hauntingly beautiful voice that sang with true emotion.

I have many others from different genres, but no matter what, I love Layne’s voice.
