This is an oasis fan thread. Does anyone like oasis? Wonderwall Dont Look Back In Anger are probably their best songs.

Tis very easy to not like them. Try Dance Gavin Dance or Infected Mushrooms, much better.

I like Oasis. They aren’t my favorite, but they can be fun to listen to. My favorite song is Don’t Look Back in Anger.

I like them. They’re pretty good. I have a friend who says they’d “be better to listen to if they didn’t sound like they’re trying to do what the Beatles were successful at when they were big”. Not that I agree with that mentality, but I do agree that they do have kind of that “older” sound that I can’t really describe.

I do love Wonderwall, though. I love how the drums kick in.

Actually, Green Day was popular first. “Dookie” came out a year before “What’s the Story Morning Glory?”

But whoever calls Oasis a wannabe anything is an idiot.

umm defenitely maybe came out in 1994 (and is regarded by most as the greatest brittish album ever) whats the story morning glory which is more popular in american audiences

I’ve always preferred Blur anyway to be honest.

oasis always hoped blur would catch aids and die. i think blur was a good band but they drew rivalry with a band that was better than them

I think that some of Oasis’ songs are catchy and up-beat, but other than that, they’re not incredible.
