Led Zeppelin

I cant believe there isnt a Led Zep topic (unless i missed it somewhere). Anyone who claims to love rock & roll has to like Led Zeppelin! What is your fav song and or album?

I love Led Zeppelin. My favorite song is “Rain song” or maybe “Achilles last stand”. I really like the live version of “The Ocean”, I can’t remember where I’ve heard it, though. Also, “The Song remains the same”... So many good stuff!!

Agreed, and maybe you re going to laugh/blame me, but I just like Stairway to heaven; It isn’t that great for me :O

I like Led Zeppelin, but Stairway to Heaven is basically the most overrated song ever.

Having recently looked into Led Zeppelin, I liked it. Sadly, I don’t like the armies of musically retarded people that think they’re the “greatest band of all time” by default. Does a high pitched vocalist automatically make him the greatest? That’s just a matter of taste, to me, because everyone’s voice is different. Can’t change that, and there’s plenty of incredible vocalists who have just as much range, just lower pitched voices.

Apart from that, I have nothing against the band. I just hesitate to listen to them, because they’re overrated to me. Talked about WAY too much, and there’s too many people out there who’d lick any of the band member’s asses. They were great, but not THAT great to say that no other band even compares. Holy shit..

I didn’t say his voice makes the band. Even though, in actuality, every frontman is important in the fact that they’re the face (and voice) of a band, and so yeah, he actually does give Led Zeppelin a lot of it’s flavor, in my opinion.

I think that the rest of the band are incredibly skilled, just as him. I just don’t think he was the GREATEST singer, as some have boldly proclaimed on other forums.

ok i hate led zeplin BUT my dad loves them!!! his fav song is stairway to heaven!!! i hate them to death though

Led Zeppelin has a few good songs. But there are other bands with more songs that I like more. Everyone won’t have the same opinion on the same song. Stairway to Heaven good, but the different halves of the song throws me off a bit. I tend to try not to listen, but they’re tolerable.

The Crunge hasn’t been mentioned so far, so i think i will now, one of the greatest timings of all time, somthing like 5/7

My favourite Zep songs must be: Kashmire, Black Mountain Side, Moby Dick, No Quarter, Achilles Last Stand, When the Levy Breaks, The Immigrant Song and Ten Years gone. Phew That was a lot of fav songs.

Led Zeppelin is amazing. My favorite songs are Immigrant Song, Stairway to Heaven, Communication Breakdown, and Kashmir.
