What is the best kind of metal?

What do you think is the best type of metal? Do you think Black metal owns? Or maybe some Nu-metal? You might even be into Power metal, whatever sub-genre of metal that you like post it here. I personally like metalcore, death metal, melo-death, and any kind of classic metal.

Indie Girl Power Pop Metal is clearly the best.

On a serious note though, I haven’t explored Metal that much. But I’d say heavy metal. The likes of Iron Maiden and so forth.

Stoner Metal, Black Metal, Doom Metal, __core, and Thrash.

Electric Wizard is stoner metal. It makes my balls bleed because of its heavy tones. Funeralopolis will actually flatten your sack.

I like numetal, power metal, symphonic power metal, neo classical metal and from time to time some thrash and industrial. I’ve gone from listening almost exclusively to rock, heavy metal and thrash metal to barely listening to any metal at all.

Stoner/Doom and Thrash do it for me.

I listen to Electric Wizard all the time, Roshin. Good stuff. :) That’s a given for any stoner/doom enthusiast.

Also i’m liking prog metal like Mastodon, Isis, Neurosis etc.
