What Guitar Should I Get?

Hey people. I’ve been playing guitar for a while, but i don’t really know much about them. I’ve been thinking about getting a new guitar, coz my one is pretty old and beat-up. I was just wondering what you people think would be a good, moderately priced guitar. (say, less that $1000).

I play mostly heavy rock/metal lead guitar, so keep that in mind. thanx. =)

Okay, I found a pretty good looking guitar, the Schecter Demon. You guys take a look and tell me what you think.

Get a Cherry Sunburst Les Paul.

u should get a x-plorer but those tend to cost a lot

All i can think of off the top of my head.

ESP has some nice EMG equiped metal guitars, look into them. I, myself, own an ESP Viper-400 and it has never let me down. Schecters are alright too. I have had my eye on a Schecter C-1 Hellraiser for awhile now (Also EMG equiped).

In fact just buy anything with an EMG in it.

epiphone les paul!

I have an Epiphone Les Paul. This guitar is very cool, easy to pickup, has great sound and is great for beginners. Freakin’ love it.

I own a les paul and love it!

Just about any esp standard would work. (If by chance you get more money, they can make a guitar from any graphic you want, for only about another $1000)

Dean also makes some bad-ass guitars look at the Razorbacks ($1099) or the MLs($600-$850)

ESP/LTD Gus-600, EC-1000 FR, and Ninja-600. Check out those too.

Don’t get a dean! Unless you feel like spending TONS of money on a decent guitar.
