Pandora

Well, most of you probably don’t know what it is. Pandora is a special program that’s similar to a radio. You type in a song/band that you like and it brings you to a song/band similar to the one you put. I think it’s a pretty cool system and helps me find new music easily. One of the greatest web sites that I’ve found in the past couple years. It’s up there with YouTube and Kongregate for me. I hope that some day the actual radio works a lot more like Pandora.

I love Pandora. Been using it for a year or so and it has helped me discover so many new artists and songs that I never would have heard.

Not sure if you have heard the news as of late, but Pandora and the rest of the internet radio sites are all at risk of being shut down due to a new law which requires obscene amounts of royalty payments to the RIAA.

I would probably not listen to hiphop at all if not for Pandora. It helped me discover a whole genre of music that I didn’t know I loved.

And that RIAA stuff is garbage, they need to get a grip on technology over and the RIAA and stop using their power to attack the internet.

Yes, now that last.fm has been bought out by CBS, it’s all about Pandora!

Bummer, that site’s US only. Sounded quite interesting.

I loved Pandora, but then they decided that is was for US residents only. DAMN :(

I love Pandora. It’s the best website ever, I voted it over kongregate at the crunchies.

Pandora is amazing.

If the RIAA could find a way to license music that didn’t involve 10$ CD’s at FYE or wherever, I might buy a CD again. It’s an old business model that needs to be kicked, and soon. Pandora’s also cool for the whole ‘finding new music’ thing.

It’s a really good radio site.. but you can’t use it outside U.S.A. and I live in the Netherlands.. Here we have something like it ‘last fm’.. it’s not so good as pandora but comes close to it.. and it give also information of the bands.

I love Pandora and I love the fact that this thread got revived on its last post’s birthday.

Its a great site, it can really broaden your horizons of music, or not if you prefer.
