Suggestions! (locked)

After factoring in the length of the previous suggestion thread, as well as how much I fail at “moderating” my own threads, I decide to open yet another Suggestions thread. This one is no different, it’s just a different thread.

This thread is for suggestions. While many people enjoy this game, I do understand that it’s definitely not perfect, and has a lot of things that can be added or changed. That’s why this thread exists. Whatever you would like to see in the game, post it here.

Do keep the following things in mind when you suggest stuff though:

  • Make sure it’s suitable for the game. Don’t suggest things that are too overpowered, make the game too easy and not fun.
    • The main theme of this game is staying there and playing gives more rewards than idling and doing something else. Please try your best not to suggest things that make idling give the same rewards as not idling, such as auto–loot, a smarter auto–fight system in the Battle Arena, auto–harvest for free, etc.
  • Please be descriptive but keep your idea as simple as possible. Do not try hard to balance your own idea, that only reduces the chance of your idea being implemented.
    • Example: “Make a purple tree that takes 2 days to harvest and gives more Coins than the pink tree” is a good suggestion, “Make a tree that takes 2 days to harvest, costs 4,027,643 Coins to purchase, gives 7,426,123 Coins and 94 Green Coins when harvested, and also color it light purple with an awesome face image on the top, and make it 50% cheaper for the first week” is not, “Make another type of tree” is not.
  • Please try your best to use proper spelling and grammar. I understand that for some of you (including me), English isn’t your native language, but well… try your best. I cannot implement something if I don’t understand your idea.
    • Also, while not required, it’s highly recommended that you capitalize the first letter of each sentence to make it easier to read.
  • Please don’t suggest anything related to music.
  • Please do not suggest anything related to currency conversion. No, seriously.
  • What you submit here is only used for inspiration. It will not be the exact same when it gets into the game. However, your suggestions to help improve the game are appreciated. You will not be credited or given RC when your suggestion is considered / used. The only “reward” you get is seeing your suggestion in action in the game.
  • If you want to submit items or other kind of graphics/artwork/whatever you call them for the game, please submit them here! (click the text “here”)

Again, this thread is for suggestions only. Please refrain from posting non–suggestions unless really necessary, and don’t post “+1” when you see an idea you like.

And, as usual, here is the “planned ideas” section. These may or may not be implemented in the game, and may change when implemented. I place here mainly as a “note to self”, but you can also see them for inspiration.

Do note that not all of these ideas are mine.

General

More user–friendly interface

  • Improve newbie tutorial.
  • Allow players to enter Standby Mode instantly.
  • Allow players to hide the Progress Bar.
  • Allow players to disable tooltips when rolling over Coins, EXP, Progress Bar, Boosts, etc.
  • I’m not sure how to do it, either. Any idea?

Career Expansion

  • From numerous sources, including Mystery Boxes, you can obtain “Career Potions”, which can be used to give you a few minutes of a career, or give you some career EXP even without the career activated.
  • After you get Lv. 100 in a career, you can trade some (1,000,000?) Career EXP for a special prize and 2,500 Blue Coins. The prize varies based on the career.
    • Idler: Idlebot Card, Battery Charger Card, 100 Insta–Progress
    • Gardener: Autoharvest Card, 5,000 Garden Points
    • Fighter: 10 random Buff Potions, 5,000,000 Pixels
    • Item Maker: Random high grade enhancer, 250,000 Crafting Material
    • Button Basher: Invincibility Stars Card
    • Arcade Player: 100 Arcade Tokens (usable for 1 day)
    • Racer: Stadium Pro Card, 5,000 Stadium Tokens

New Features

New House System

  • Requirements
    • Must get the following items to build:
      • 50× Brick [can be purchased in the Feature Shop with Coins]
      • 50× Wood [randomly obtained from harvesting trees in the Garden]
      • 50× Nail [randomly obtained from clicking the Button Machine]
      • 50× Paint [obtained from a certain adventure in Awesome Adventures]
  • You control a stickman using the old drag and drop system. You can buy clothes for your stickman, and throw him for some EXP.
  • Your new house will have 3 rooms.
    • Room 1
      • In this room, you can purchase a floor and wall of choice.
      • You can also have a pet in this room, which you can feed once in a while to raise its happiness and gain rewards. If you don’t feed it though, its happiness will drop. Different pets give different stuff, and happiness increases your rewards when you feed your pet.
    • Room 2
      • In this room, you can purchase numerous “furnitures” and stuff for your house, including:
        • Flower Vase
          • Allows you to put a badly drawn flower of choice in it. It costs, though.
          • If there’s a flower in the Flower Vase, your boost depletes slower when you are in the house, and your EXP gain increases.
        • Magic Crystal
          • Can be used once every 30 minutes you play, gives you a random reward (EXP, Coins, Boosts).
        • Mirror
          • It gives you advice. Advice on where you should fight in the Battle Arena, and more stuff. Don’t ask.
        • Stat Screen
          • Replaces the current CTRL + S stat screen. You can see the EXP graph, play time status, % Anti–Idle rewards and more invisible stats.
        • Bookshelf
          • Contains more secrets that even the Dragon of Wisdom doesn’t know, including some formulas, useful tips and tricks.
    • Room 3
      • In this room, you can view your trophies. They’re like very difficult achievements. Except for they aren’t achievements, and they don’t give you anything special when you get them. Yeah, that’s right.
  • Repair
    • Every day, your house will lose some “HP”. When its “HP” reaches 0, you will be unable to use the house. Repairing the house is simple, just use some material.
  • Upgrades
    • You can get more material (Brick, Wood, Nail, Paint) to upgrade your house. Your house has 4 different levels:
      • Unlocked – Room 1 and Room 2 access. EXP gain rate when you’re in your house: +0%
      • Upgrade #1 – More items for your stickman. Room 3 access. EXP gain rate when you’re in your house: +15%
      • Upgrade #2 – More things to purchase in Room 1 and Room 2. EXP gain rate when you’re in your house: +30%
      • Upgrade #3 – You don’t have to repair your house as much. EXP gain rate when you’re in your house: +50%

New Feature: Treasure Mine

  • Requirements
    • Level: 1200
    • Coins: 950,000,000
  • The Basics
    • Treasure Mine is a tile–based game, in which you control a “shovel” with left, right and down arrow keys.
    • Your goal is to collect valuable treasures with your “shovel”, which give EXP, Coins, Green Coins and Blue Coins.
    • Controlling the “shovel” requires “fuel”, for whatever reason. You have to collect “fuel” if you don’t want to lose.
    • The deeper you go, the more valuable the treasures get.
    • You can purchase upgrades to increase your fuel capacity, increase treasure value, and stuff.

New Feature: Scavenger Hunt

  • Requirements
    • Ascended at least once.
  • The Basics
    • Every once in a while, you can attempt a Scavenger Hunt mission.
    • If you choose to attempt the Scavenger Hunt mission, you will have 15 minutes (offline time included) to get 3 randomly generated items. You do not know what item you need to get before attempting the mission. Required items may include the following, and possibly a few more I cannot think of right now:
      • Non–Randomfruit: Obtained by harvesting trees in the Garden, but not Another Garden (5% chance).
      • Blue Wood: Obtained by harvesting trees in Another Garden (20% chance).
      • Ring of Nothing: Obtained by looting ring drop in the Battle Arena (50% chance).
      • Worthless Enhancer: Obtained by looting enhancer drop in Battle Arena (50% chance).
      • Ultimate Badge: Obtained by moving your mouse over an item that appears in Ultimate Avoidance.
      • Non–Functional Mine: Randomly obtained by revealing squares in MindSweeper. Has a chance to replace the XP square.
      • Useless Hat: Obtained by winning in the Stadium (10% chance).
      • Grammar Pill: Obtained by taking the Grammar Pill in Awesome Adventures. Obvious enough.
    • If you successfully find the 3 required items, you’ll get a Scavenger Hunt Box and can attempt another Scavenger Hunt after 6 hours of playing. If you fail, you can attempt another Scavenger Hunt after 3 hours of playing.

New Feature: Seppuku

  • Requirements:
    • Level: 350
    • Coins: 17,500,000
  • The Basics
    • Seppuku allows you to gain EXP when you’re not playing. This feature is mainly aimed at players who cannot keep their computer on at night.
    • You can set a Seppuku duration of 1~72 hours.
    • During Seppuku, you may not play the game.
    • When Seppuku is complete, you will gain some EXP.
    • There’s a cooldown between two times you can use Seppuku, mainly to prevent system clock abuse and effortless EXP. The cooldown is based on Seppuku duration.
    • You can manually deactivate Seppuku at any time.

Reserve, in case I need more. I probably don’t though.

I talked this over while I was chatting with some guys.

My suggestion is to allow more than one ability on a monster card in Tukkun FCG.

Example: if a creature already has an ability, lets say Growth power, and a spell that gives another ability, lets say regen, is cast then instead of growth being over-written the creature card would have two abilities, growth and regen.

EDIT: ZOMG, “First”! :D

Isn’t that just a walkie talkie? Cell phone? XD I think it needs a renamed device.

Add something special at rank 500, the ability to “ascend” back to rank 1, the ability to go to rank 600, higher stat cap, something neat.

I like the License to Ascend idea, but the thing is heavy idlers won’t have a FCG deck at all (as well as people who suck at it like me), and Pong can just go to hell, so that only leaves the other 4 options.
So additional ideas:
-Press the button 75,000 times
-Collect 50,000 Anti-Idling rewards
-Kill 200 total opponents in Death Match
-Earn 40,000,000 Lolmarket profit

Counter for those only increasing at Lv. 9000. Doesn’t seem fair only those features allow the LtA. Should get every feature involved somehow!

You could add an upgrade that allow to see the monster stat when he in front of yo withouht going in the bestiary.
E.G. if i pass my mouse on the enemy i see his hp,def, atk, etc

The Kommander Transponder. I would like it better if it was a specific number of uses before it broke (3-5?) instead of the daily thing.

Also, awesome ascending limits. I am really excited for Impossible. :3

House sounds awesome too.

1- For the button, 75000 is way too easy. I’m lvl 830 and i already have near 200000.
Maybe 75000 perfect click
2-I have already 30000 anti-idling reward and I idle more then i anti-idle so need to increase the amount (or do you mean 50000 when you reach lvl 9000)

This part concerns me. Will there at least be a cost cut of about 50% (To make up for the 58%ish time loss) or something? Assuming this gets implemented, of course. I can see how this works for the cards for Adventures, Stadium, FCG and so on, but Auto Harvest and Demand Master kind of “need” the whole day thing. Sure, one can make a profit in BC from the Demand Master, but if you cut that to 10 hours, suddenly one would be lucky to break even. Pair that with the reduction in BC from Gambler’s Boxes and the apparent possibility of a hat that will only be useful once taking up a prize slot in them, and suddenly Lolmarket doesn’t seem very appealing.

Ascension seems interesting, but I’m not overly thrilled with some of the options. From what’s there I could ascend without bothering with Pong (I doubt I’ll get even Survivor anytime soon, much less be able to complete that) or FCG (I swear my luck can’t get much worse with this feature than it already is), but it does seem to add some spice to the mix.

And I’m level 5121 and have 14,800 clicks (Counting a few thousand from button clicker adventure). 75,000 clicks is freaking insane as far as I’m concerned. I don’t like the button because I find it boring and don’t feel like messing up my mouse or my hand/wrist. That said, since it would likely just be an option for License to Ascend, I could see it being a viable option for those like yourself that DO like the button. I just don’t think that 75k is a small number.

As for Anti-Idle rewards, I currently only have 32,800ish. Just to put things into perspective again. A lot of people largely idle, being this is an idle game. That said, his post seems to indicate that these counters wouldn’t start until level 9000, so it would be 75k button hits, 50k Anti-Idling rewards, 200 Death Match kills, or 40 mil Lolmarket profit only AFTER hitting level 9000. Seems interesting to me.

Some of these were posted in the other topic already by me, but I figure I’ll repeat.

1. Seed shop in another garden where you can buy seeds for GP. It sucks that GP loses all importance after unlocking last plot. I never have seeds enough as to breed so it just keeps piling up.
2. A way to sell cards you don’t want.
3. The ascension difficulties hard and impossible, only disable some cards. The way it is now one would have to give up all hope to compete within garden/lolmarket, if you can’t use the cards you are screwed. Maybe you want it that way, but tbh for those who care about those features it’s a major buzzkill. Also… that much boost depletion AND requiring to reach 9001? That’s just insane.
4. Max gardener increase chance of getting seeds when harvesting.
5. As someone else said, 10 hour lasting cards for things like demand master and autoharvest is really shitty. Please don’t.

Also, the easier looting thing. What does this even mean? To me it sounds like using reflect will yet again become even more OP because you aren’t attacking or using autofight so you also get free loots.

Decoration Shop (for new house system) Suggestion.

Have the ability to change the trophy shelf in Room 3

If the old window system is being used, divide the items into categories like the old system.

Sell items for mostly Coins (yellow in window), GC (green in window), and BC (blue in window). Pixels (cyan in window), Crafting Material (brown in window), and RC (red in window) seems illogical.

If the new system (like Feature Shop) is being used, put items into categories (don’t scramble them) and have 4 floors.

Floor 1 – Basic clothes, decorations, floors, walls, furniture, pets, and filters. (unlocked by building the house)
Floor 2 – Premium clothes and Trophy Shelves (unlocked by attaining the 1st upgrade)
Floor 3 – Premium decorations, floors, walls, furniture, and pets. (unlocked by attaining the 2nd upgrade)
Floor 4 – Premium Trophy Shelves and Special Items [goes on floor 1]. (unlocked by attaining the 3rd upgrade)

P.S. Will Pre-Explosion players get a free house (unupgraded)?

I know you’re now gonna give me a single Red Coin for this whole comment but anyway,

Battle Arena
De-buffs now shows what it does by rolling the mouse over it:
Stun – Disables you from using any move that attacks the enemy, well, unless it’s passive…
Poison – You take damage over time (As the time passes, the effect will be reduce, until it disappears.).
Slow – Slows down your attacks (Literally…).
Potion-Block – Disables you from using any potions (Yay Heal! :D).
Zombifity – Heal will now TAKE Health Points instead of giving it (Well, at least potions exist!).
Blind – Decreases Accuracy and Evade.
Weaken – Decreases Attack and Defense.
The enemy CAN’T cast 2 of them at the same time.
Bestiary now gives you extra attack and defense against the monster (Say, 30% more damage and you take 30% less damage?).
Quick Attack Improve now slightly increases the Quick Attack’s speed (Maybe 1% each level?).
Now you’re able to trade Pixels for Coins. JUST IN CASE YOU DON’T NEED THEM.
Or the opposite, buy Pixels with Coins.
Pyramid Raid now gives low leveled Enhancement.
When you don’t have any Ring equipped, the Shop Button will Flash in RED.
When you die, it’ll be more likely to gain a Ring from the monster that killed you, doesn’t matter WHICH Ring you equipped.
When you got hit, you’ll be “Invincible” for X seconds, while that time, the enemy can’t hit you at all (Thanks to Maple Story for the idea.).
When you have all Rings, you’ll be able to get godly Rings (Such as ones that increase your maximum speed or whatever…).
Amount of Coins dropped from a monster is now changes from the areas you are in/level of the monster. (Seriously, very low chance to gain only 12 Green Coins (Which is… nothing.) when killing a monster.).
Red-Named monsters have X% more chance to drop things (Same for bosses, maybe?).

Stadium
Darkness is now removed from Item Fight AND Death Match, I mean, it’s not fair that they don’t get affected by this and you do.
Darkness is replaced with Speed Increase, Speed Increase increases your speed for a short amount of time.
Now you’re able to adjust the length of the race.
If you’ve won a lot of times in Simple Race AND Item Fight, the cap of upgrades you can buy up to raises.

Button Machine
When you get 5,000 Combo, the button will turn into an Awesome Face and give more EXP and Coins (And it does stack with Invincible Starts Card.).
When you get at least 2 Perfect Clicks in a row, you’ll gain a “Perfect Combo”, the bigger the “Perfect Combo” is, the higher reward you get from Perfect Clicks (And higher regular Combo, as well.).

TukkunFCG
When you get to a really high Win Streak, you’ll get to pick one of very good Cards that you CAN’T get from buying it from the deck.
Delay between turns is reduced (To like… 5 seconds maybe?).
Another use for leveling up, like… Passive skills (Improve damage you deal to the opponent, Decrease damage dealt to you when the opponent attacks you, chance to gain more cards from the enemy’s deck when you win, Increase HP, Decrease enemy’s HP when the battle starts, Chance to gain double EXP, or whatever…).
New Card: Monster Drain – The enemy monster loses X Attack and Defense, your monster will gain the X Attack and Defense gained from the monster.
New Card: Poison World – Both players gain X Poison damage (Over turn, of course.).
New Card: Color Hoarder (Better name, anyone?) – Gives X instantly of all colors, and you lose X HP.
An option to pay TukkunFCG Cash to extend the amount of Cards that you can have of one type (Expect generators and instants, of course, since you can have Infinity of them.).

Garden
Until level 50, Harvest Value is increased and Tree’s cost is decreased (But not be a lot so high leveled people won’t be jealous.).

Arcade
Pong: Each 5 goals, you gain extra life.
Now you can make a reversed Pong Power pressing Shift, it will divide the multiplier by 3 (Rounding DOWN) but it will Nerf the enemy (Like: Smaller Paddle, Slower Paddle, etc.).
Ultimate Avoidance: A short time after the game starts, obstacles will be a little bit slower.
Math Master: An option to skip a question, just like Pre-EXPlosion.
Whack-A-Greg: Clicking on an Awesome Face will now always give the amount of “HP”, like you clicked on it RIGHT when it appeared, and they can’t disappear (Which will make Awesome Faces REALLY Awesome!).
MMR: Make something that can resist the “Sticky Keys” window while playing the game.
An option to pay Green Coins and extend the amount of Arcade Tokens gained each day.

Awesome Adventures
New Adventure: Noob Complaining about Battle Arena
“You come across a noob that complains that his character always dies in 1 second at the Battle Arena, the noob is asking for help, what will you do?”
Give him 100,000 Pixels: “You gave the noob 100,000 Pixels, he thanked you for that. +5 Reputation.
Give him an advice: Two options:
1% each Battle Arena Rank: “The noob seemed to understand all what you said, he thanked you for that. +3 Reputation.
Otherwise: “The noob didn’t seem to understand it all, but he thanked you anyway. +1 Reputation.
After the EXP Merchant get banned for scamming you get all of your Coins back.
Unexpected Monster and Strange Force are now less likely than the other adventures to occur.

Daily Prize
New possibilities: Random LOLMarket Gem, 1% of EXP needed to level up (For the level 9000 ones…), Random Card (But with low chance of like…0.01%?).

New Quests
“Even More Rewards” (Mission is unlocked by completing the 750 rewards mission.)
Description: “So, you gained 750 rewards, that’s pretty nice for a start! Now, go get even more rewards!
Rewards Claimed: X/2500”

“Win Streak!” (Finishing the first mission of TukkunFCG is required to unlock this mission.)
Description: “You already got level 3 and 5 wins, nice start! Now, there’s something called “Win Streak” which is the amount of times you won without losing. Go get some nice Win Streak!
TukkunFCG Win Streak: X/10"

“Ant Sprayer” (Level 500+)
Description: “So, you probably have heard of something called “Ant Sprayer” (From Feature Shop, for 74 Million Yellow Coins), with that, you’re able to get rid of ants without paying anything! Sounds awesome, right? now go use it and get rid of some ants!
P.S. If you didn’t know, ants eat your boosts…
Ants Sprayed: X/1000"

“Awesome Adventures” (Level 600+)
Description: “Ever heard of something called “Awesome Adventures”, so yes, you were right. In this feature you are able to adventure! Sometimes, when you do and adventure, you gain “Reputation”, which can be traded for Energy Refill, Increase Maximum Energy, and even BLUE COINS!!! Now go get some Reputation!
Note: The Reputation HAVE to be positive. And the adventures aren’t really awesome :(.
Awesome Adventurers Reputation: X/100"

Careers
Gardener Career level 100 bonus is also make trees cheaper to buy (Plant…).
Some sort of VIP card to make careers cheaper to active (Because seriously…).
When you get all Careers to level 100, you’ll unlock a special career to increase reward from activating/max-level-passive-effect and making the careers last longer.
A cap of cost for activating careers, billions of Coins to active a career only for 23 hours sounds crazy.

Other Changes
In the Feature Shop and Mystery shop, now you have to hold Space while buying something, to prevent clicks buying things by an accident.
The depletion Boosts (The one you get wen you level up…) is deplate as slow as the Elite Temporary Boosts (2%/5 Minutes.).
Now you can click H+T to Harvest Trees, when you have the mini garden, it might be useless but in case your fighting something at the Battle Arena that you can’t stop, you can do that instead.
Now you can adjust the speed of the Progress bar (Of course, faster it fills, the lower the prizes are, the slower it fills, higher prize.) (Idea from Version 1,410.).
Being able to increase Idle Mode/Anti-Idle Mode with Yellow Coins (Level based price…).

the part about the tree’s and balancing made me laugh so hard i forgot what i was going to suggest.

Wow that sounds pretty interesting. I am looking forward to the whole hard/impossible ascending thing once i store up enough ascend points i guess.

One suggestion that I have would be a crafting material <→ pixel market for a certain manageable ratio. Perhaps have it alter exchange rates slightly, like the Lolmarket, but never worth a full refund if you trade for one of them. This way, if you have excess of pixels or crafting material, you can exchange it for the other, in order to give yourself more opportunities to craft without being low in either material.

Daily Quests for Features
Alright, so I think that you should make a daily quest for each feature, to have something to do with everything, every day. The idea is – when you do one, the next time you encounter it, it will be harder to complete, but with very slightly better rewards. If you don’t/can’t do one for several times, it will be easier again, but the rewards get a tad worse. Also, since there can be varied accomplishments with each of the features, they could randomly cycle from day to day.

Stuff like, killing X monsters, earning X Stadium tokens, scoring X perfect button clicks, getting a certain win/loss on FCG level 5, … Something varied, sometimes something unoriginal, even tedious at times. Really up to you.

Another, could you increase the max career level to be 9001 for each? You would stop getting more upgrades after hitting the current maximum, or gain them by a minimal amount for each passing level after hundred, in addition to leveling being very hard by then, but it would still be nice to level them even more.

if you want to improve newbie tutorial than simple insert a link to the forums in it. then just create a general information thread for newbies to give them a good idea on what to do in each feature. for example:

STADIUM:
in this feature you will be racing through a course in an attempt to beat your opponents to the finish(along with other added things such as items and pwnts). using the arrow keys to move, the up arrow key to jump, and the shift key to slow down or give you a boost when on the yellow platforms. you can buy stadium tokens and upgrade your racer and when you are ready you can move on to the next difficulty until you become a stadium master! your rewards for completing races will include EXP, yellow coins, green coins, stadium tokens(obviously), and blue coins(only if you win the race though).

I like the Seppuku idea cuz i cant run the computer all night it slows it down too much

No. I’d rather put the info in the game. Putting tutorial in the forum is much more unreliable.

They do get affected by it, although very little. I’ll probably buff it later.
