you get a wormhole and a gun, with which you kill the you that was in the past and thus couldn’t have killed himself and caused a infinite time loop that short-circuited the machine and made the wormhole disappear, so present/past you shoots the confused machine but somehow still keeps the loop going.

I fix the machine, being careful not to get shot, and insert the gun (it has been shooting for 13.37 years, and shot 9,001k times now).

However the loop still manages to shoot at the machine so I move it away, and the “ghost bullets” tear the wall apart and kill your girl/boyfriend(respectively, based on your gender) in the next room.

You then get accused of murder, but are found not guilty and the soda machine gets arrested because it has a gun(Lol). You now have free will, but there are bullets being flung off into the sun, coming from the area of the wormhole.

(note that the gun isn’t shooting, where the gun was when the loop started is)

Better be careful.
