Hi,
I'm around level 4900, rank 273, haven't ascended, and want to know is there a way I can do more damage in the technical battleground? None of my keys (X, S, C and so on) work with no weapon equipped, and killing these monsters from poison/reflect alone is extremely slow. I've got an invisible ally which has a skill for bonus damage against undead (do they cast their skills automatically btw?), but it's still really slow. Using the cruelty ring since it's useful at least to insta-KO sometimes.
Any ideas? I don't really tend to fight without a weapon and I'm not actually even sure how to attack given my keys aren't doing anything.

Heal does work, but there's a better tactic:
Reflection ring, 9 Reflect levels and all Magic Reflect skill levels allow you to get cap Reflect and a decent Magic reflect. Don't bother on Speed unless you want to use Heal during the event(its damage is super low in compared to Reflect one).
Get as high Hit/Dodge chance as possible, and get some defensive skills if you have spare SP. Of course, get everything that gets you extra DPS.
As IA, use anything that has Boss Damage.

Thank you :) . Which sort of skills/items might I want to take for actual DPS? I'm not actually attacking, so I'm a little confused by that.

You just don't attack. Or use Heal when being active(only if you have 25 speed).
Reflect works like a normal attack, so you still want the best DPS as usual. (Statuses, Crit, Damage etc.)
About equips, just pick the best pieces you have. I don't know what you have right now :p

Oh I see - I thought reflect was just if the monster hit me, then I would do a scaled ratio of that damage back to them. Which is why I was also confused about why I should be taking evasion!
What does IA stand for?

If you're using reflect tactics the best IA's are either CHAOS, triangoop, or the ascendant.
