1421 – Awesome Update

Release Date: Oct. 14, 2011

REMINDER: Spend your Skill Points!

  • Fishing
    • A new feature, Fishing, is now available! When you reach level 800, buy it in the Feature Shop for 950,000,000 Coins!
    • You can idle to progress in this feature, however, it’s slower and less effective.
    • Obtained items can be fed to the pet for Pet Fullness, sold for Coins or recycled for Crafting Material.
  • Purple Screen of Death
    • With this feature, you can gain EXP even when the game isn’t open!
  • Special Shop
    • Every day, 5 random items are sold in the Special Shop.
    • These items can be purchased with either Quest Tokens or Event Tokens.
    • Each item can only be purchased once.
  • Auto–Event System
    • Certain events will be automatically “celebrated” by the game system.
    • You can obtain Event Tokens from events, or simply by playing.
    • Event Tokens can be used to purchase items in the Special Shop.

  • Achievements
    • 55 new achievements are added.
  • New quest system
    • There are now 15 newbie quests.
    • Main quests are removed. Instead, you have a random quest that when finished, you get some rewards including Quest Tokens.
    • Each time you finish a quest, the next one gets harder. Quest difficulty is reset when the day ends.
    • You can forfeit a quest with Green Coins or instantly complete a quest with Blue Coins, however, there is a daily limit and the cost increases each time you use it. Cost is reset when the day ends.
    • Quest Tokens can be used to purchase items in the Special Shop.
  • Ascension
    • When ascending for the 5th time (and every time after that), you can select the difficulty for your next ascension.
    • Higher difficulty means higher penalties, but you also get more Ascend Points once you’re done and get EXP faster at Lv. 9001 and several other perks.
    • Ascension penalties will be removed once you reach Lv. 9000.
    • You can trade 1 Ascend Point for 2,000 Quest Tokens.
  • Garden
    • Fertilizer
      • You can get Fertilizers from Daily Bonus (hard cap: 30).
      • You can use a Fertilizer to increase harvest value of all planted trees by 5% (similar to the effect of the [Some Sort of Gardener] adventure)
  • Battle Arena
    • Pendant
      • A new armor category is added: Pendant.
      • You can get pendants from looting.
    • A new Battle Arena area is added.
    • Rare Monsters
      • Once in a while, you can encounter a Rare Monster.
      • Rare Monsters have the same look and stats as regular ones, but have a greater item drop rate.
      • Rare Monsters are indicated by a yellow name background.
    • Buffs
      • You can get buffs by using a Buff Potion in your new Potion inventory (24 slots).
      • Buff Potions can be obtained from crafting and loot drops.
      • There are three types of buffs.
        • Power Buff: Attack: +20%, Defense: +20%, MaxHP: +20%, MaxMP: +20%, Accuracy: +20%, Evasion: +20%
        • Master Buff: Mastery: +20%, Damage Taken: –20%, HP Regen: +200%, MP Regen: +200%, Hit Chance: +20%, Dodge Chance: +20%
        • Reward Buff: EXP: +10%, Coin: +20%, Pixel: +20%, Drop Rate: +30%
      • You can only have one buff at a time.
    • Map
      • A map is added to the Battle Arena. You can use this to find areas. Mostly for newbies.
    • Teleport
      • An icon will appear when you are ready to complete Mission Kommander’s mission. Clicking it will teleport you to Ye Olde Pub instantly.
      • If you have the VIP Traveling Ticket, you can quickly teleport to the following areas at the cost of some Coins.

      • If your recipe level is high enough, you can apply [Crystal of Rarity] and [Crystal of Ultimate Rarity] for a higher chance to craft good items.
    • New item bonuses are added. All of these are orange–colored bonuses, exclusive to weapons and multiplied by item tier.
      • Double Hit Chance: +2%
      • Rage Attack: +4%
      • Rage Speed: +5%
      • Poison Damage on monsters: +20% / sec
      • Poison Duration on monsters: +0.5 sec
      • When a monster is weakened, Monster Attack/Defense: –1%
      • Weaken Duration on monsters: +0.5 sec
      • When a monster is blinded, Accuracy/Evasion: –1%
      • Blind Duration on monsters: +0.5 sec
      • Potion Efficiency: +20%
      • When fighting a boss monster, Damage: +5%
      • Monsters’ ranged attacks deal 2% less damage.
      • 0.5% chance to instantly kill a non–boss monster.
      • 2% chance to negate status effects.
  • Button Machine
    • You can now buy stuff with Purple Buttons.
      • 10 [Purple Button] = +25% All Boosts
      • 50 [Purple Button] = 1.5x Button Machine EXP/Coins for next 100 clicks
      • 200 [Purple Button] = +1% Button Machine reward multiplier (buyable 100 times)
  • Arcade
    • A new Arcade game is added: Balance 3. Requires Arcade Pack, and costs 3 Arcade Tokens per play.
    • You can now buy stuff with 100k Medals.
      • 20 [100k Medal] = +25% All Boosts
      • 100 [100k Medal] = 1.5x EXP/Coin gain for the next game you play
      • 500 [100k Medal] = Unlimited Arcade Tokens for 1 day
  • Stadium
    • You can now buy stuff with Stadium Tokens.
      • 500 [Stadium Token] = +25% All Boosts
      • 2,500 [Stadium Token] = 1.5x EXP/Coin gain for the next race (Simple Race / Item Fight only)
      • 10,000 [Stadium Token] = 1 Death Match entry
  • Awesome Adventures
    • Reputation is now capped at 999,999 (or –999,999).
  • Career
    • A new Career is added: Fisher
    • When a Career is level 100, you can trade 500,000 extra Career EXP you get for some [Random Career Potion] and a random reward.
    • You can use [Random Career Potion] to get 200~400 Career EXP (based on current career level) for a random career, even if it is not activated.

  • Daily Bonus
    • Daily Bonus rewards are changed.
  • Achievements
    • Achievements now increase EXP and Coin gain from the Progress Bar by up to +100% (100 RC = +1%).
  • Progress Bar reward is more level–based.
  • Mystery Boxes
    • You can now open boxes quickly by moving your mouse over a box and holding Shift key.
    • Most Mystery Box contents are changed.
  • Battle Arena
    • Loot
      • Loot drops now bounce like before, and stay on screen for a longer duration.
      • Multiple loot drops of the same type can be on screen at once.
      • Certain drop rates and values are modified.
      • If loot drops touch your character, they will be looted automatically.
      • Enhancers now show their icons before you loot them.

    • Stat balancing
      • Default Rage Attack is reduced to 40% (old: 100%).
      • You gain 1% Critical Chance per 1,000 Accuracy. Base Critical Chance is reduced to 10% (old: 20%).
      • Base Reflect is reduced to 10% (old: 50%). You gain 2% Reflect per Attack Speed.
      • You gain 10 times as much stats when you rank up (3 times for Accuracy and Evasion). You’ll automatically gain extra stats based on your current rank when this update arrives.
    • Stat screen is changed. The stat screen shows more detailed stats, has explanation for each stat and you can also increase your stats directly from the Stat screen!
    • Base stat caps are increased.
      • Attack: Soft cap = 65,000 (old: 60,000) | Hard cap = 90,000 (old: 80,000)
      • Defense: Soft cap = 65,000 (old: 60,000) | Hard cap = 90,000 (old: 80,000)
      • MaxHP: Soft cap = 650,000 (old: 600,000) | Hard cap = 900,000 (old: 800,000)
      • MaxMP: Soft cap = 260,000 (old: 120,000) | Hard cap = 360,000 (old: 160,000)
      • Accuracy: Hard cap = 18,000 (old: 9,999)
      • Evasion: Hard cap = 18,000 (old: 9,999)
    • Raid balancing
      • Prehistoric Mission
        • Chance of going to Power Room is increased by 15% each time you finish a room in Prehistoric Mission.
        • You get 1 [Proof of Mission] each time you get to Warp Room.
        • Final [Proof of Mission] reward is reduced by 25%.
        • If you quit midway, you are kicked to [–Infinity: Prehistoric Area].
      • Tower of DOOOOOOM
        • Kills in [Tower of DOOOOOOM] now give 1 [Proof of Training]. The final boss gives more [Proof of Training].
    • Stun duration is reduced, but you are more likely to be stunned.
    • Each time a monster attacks you, it gains 1% Attack and 1% Accuracy.
    • Monsters above your level now have % Dodge Chance.
    • Pixel cost for stat upgrading is increased.
    • Most monsters have their HP, Attack, Defense, Accuracy and Evasion increased. EXP/Coin gain is slightly changed. Pixel gain is increased.
  • Arcade
    • [100k Medal] gain is multiplied by Arcade Token cost when playing a game. For MMR, multiplier is 1.
  • Career
    • [Item Maker] Lv. 100 reduces Crafting Material cost by 20% as well as Pixel cost.
  • Pet
    • Arcade 100k Medal cost is doubled.
    • Pet loses more fullness when sleeping.
  • Other changes
    • [Elite Temp. Max Boost] can no longer be purchased.
    • [Progress Box] can no longer be purchased with Red Coins. Blue Coin cost is reduced to 200 (old: 250).
    • [Pixelated Mystery Box] can no longer be purchased with Red Coins. Blue Coin cost is reduced to 800 (old: 1,000).
    • [Premium Ant Sprayer] can no longer be purchased with Red Coins, and costs 18,000 Blue Coins.
    • [Title Editor] is now given for free after first ascension. If you purchased [Title Editor] before this update, you will still keep it.
    • Auto–Boost limit is increased by 50% each time you ascend, for the first 5 times.

  • The previous quest system is removed.
  • Red Coins are removed.
  • Mystery Shop
    • [Title Editor] is removed from the Mystery Shop.
    • [Secret Shop] is removed from the Mystery Shop as it is now useless.
  • Battle Arena
    • The previous crafting system is removed.
    • Pixel Shop is removed.

  • Ascension perk for Stadium now works on Practice Mode.
  • You can no longer purchase Energy Refills if you already have 30.
  • Many other bugs are fixed.

1422 – Larger Inventory

  • Quest
    • Cost to forfeit / instantly finish quests is reduced.
  • Battle Arena
    • 6 extra slots are added to all of your Battle Arena inventories.
    • [Secret Crystal] gives less EXP, Coins and Pixels.
    • [Boss of DOOOOOOM] is slightly weaker.

  • Fishing

1425 – Auto–Arcade

  • Arcade
    • You can now watch the Dragon of Wisdom play Pong, Whack–a–greg, MindSweeper and Balance 3 by pressing Shift + D after selecting a game in the game selection screen.

  • Garden
    • You can eat/sell 10 or 100 Randomfruits at a time instead of 1 or 10.
    • EXP reward when eating Randomfruits is more level–based.
  • A few minor balancing changes are made.

1426 – Obvious Changes

  • Quest
    • Some quests now have a higher level requirement and reward increased.
  • Special Shop
    • Some items are now cheaper.

    • Some Battle Arena area graphics are replaced with new (and hopefully better) ones. Thank you LucidCrux!
    • Instant Kill chance is reduced for monsters higher level than you.

  • Mystery Enhancers from quests are now added properly.
  • Buff Potions from Careers now work properly.

1427 – Item Storage

Release Date: Oct. 25, 2011

  • Battle Arena
    • Item Storage
      • You can store 24 extra Battle Arena items of any type in the Item Storage.
    • Item Fusion
      • You can combine 2 weapons or 2 armor of the same type (except Medals) to create a new one. Each item can only be fused once.
    • Item Recycle
      • You can turn an item into Crafting Material.
      • Certain items cannot be recycled.

1428 – Fusion Balancing

Release Date: Oct. 26, 2011

  • Battle Arena
    • Item Fusion
      • Fused items now have 10% less stats.
      • You can no longer remove “Cannot apply Bonus Rocks” and “Cannot apply Life Rocks” by fusing items.
      • [Sword of Ascendant] can no longer be fused.
    • Item Recycle
      • Mining Tools can no longer be recycled.

1429 – Filler Update

Release Date: Oct. 27, 2011

  • Battle Arena
    • [Elite Grenades] now have 500 attack instead of 0 and can no longer be fused. Each Attack Speed over 2 on [Elite Grenades] is converted into 5 Attack.
    • A few minor graphical changes are done to prepare for some upcoming things.

1430 – Spirit Items

Release Date: Oct. 29, 2011

  • Battle Arena
    • Spirit Items are now available!
      • After an item is enhanced to +10, you can apply a Spirit Rock to it to turn it into a Spirit Item.
      • When a Spirit weapon is equipped, you use Spirit Skills instead of regular ones.
      • For each Spirit Item equipped, you gain 100 max Spirit and lose 10% MaxMP.
      • You can remove the Spirit status from an item by applying a Spirit Rock to a Spirit Item.
    • Craft
      • A few new items are available for crafting.

  • Battle Arena
    • After looting a skill, you no longer need to re–enter the Battle Arena for it to take effect.
    • Critical Damage limit is now 1000% (old: 500%)
    • Skill Balancing
      • Quick Attack
        • Now deals damage twice to a monster. Unlike a regular Double Hit, the second hit of Quick Attack can be a critical hit.
        • Even if the monster would die in 1 hit, Quick Attack will still attack 1 extra time with 2000% Critical Damage and give you extra combo.
        • Double Hit chance is NOT doubled, and cannot trigger twice in one Quick Attack.
        • Speed is halved.
      • Coup de Grace
        • Required monster HP: 0.5% or lower (old: 1% or lower)
        • Damage: 2000% (old: 1000%)
    • Recipes now have a much lower drop rate.
    • You can no longer recycle items during a hard/impossible ascension.
    • Drop rate of Superior Crafting Material is used.
  • Fishing
    • The rate of fish appearing is adjusted.
      • Base rate of fish appearing is multiplied by 3.
      • For each perfect streak, this rate is increased by 10%. For example, at 20 perfect streak, fish appearing rate is tripled.
      • Fish appearing rate is no longer multiplied by 10 when fishing streak is 3 or higher.
    • Fatigue limit is now 1,500.
    • EXP gain is adjusted.
    • Lv. 9 or higher fish (but not junk items) now give more Mastery and Fatigue.
    • Failing to catch a fish now adds less Fatigue.
    • Mastery gain from lifetime milestones is increased.
  • Career
    • Item Maker
      • A few items now give less Career EXP when crafted.
  • A few minor balancing changes are made.

  • Potion Efficiency now works for MP potions.
  • Coup de Grace now works immediately when requirement is met.

1431 – Filler Update

Release Date: Nov. 01, 2011

  • Quest
    • A few quests have their level requirements adjusted.
  • Battle Arena
    • Bonus Rocks are now pre–enhanced to +7.
    • Life Rocks are now pre–enhanced to +9.
    • A few items have their crafting requirements reduced.

  • A temporary fix has been made to fix a Battle Arena bug for returning players.
  • Some other bugs have been fixed.

1432 – Another Update

Release Date: Nov. 01, 2011

  • Battle Arena
    • [Elite Weapon Bonus Rocks] and [Elite Armor Bonus Rock] now cost 25 [Proof of Mission] to craft (old: 50)
    • A few new items are now available for crafting.
    • After reaching rank 500, you can obtain 100 extra SP from looting.
    • Bonus Rocks are now pre–enhanced to +5 instead of +7.
    • Some items no longer require Shift + K + Click to be sold.

1433 – Random Balancing

Release Date: Nov. 03, 2011

  • Quest
    • Some new quests are added.

  • Special Shop
    • A few items are modified (cost change, effect change, etc.).
  • Battle Arena
    • [Drain] and [Autosteal] are now more effective.
    • Spirit skills are now slower but more powerful.
  • Fishing
    • You can now use 5 Energy Drinks per day (old: 3).

1434 – Enhancer Filter

Release Date: Nov. 05, 2011

  • Battle Arena
    • New item bonuses have been added. All of these are green–colored bonuses, are available on both weapons and armor, and multiplied by item tier.
      • Enhancer Filter: 5% chance to filter enhancers
      • Enhancer Rarity: 2% chance to increase looted enhancers’ rarity by 1 (Uncommon to Rare, Rare to Epic, etc.)
      • Enhancer Level: 2% chance to increase looted enhancers’ level by 1
    • Enhancer Filter
      • If you have the Enhancer Filter bonus, you can select enhancers you don’t want to reduce the chance of finding them from monsters. This does NOT make other enhancers more likely to appear.

  • Battle Arena
    • You can no longer gain Spirit without equipping a Spirit weapon.
    • Wait time before enhancing is now based on % Success, capped at 10 minutes.

  • Auto Attack now has its power affected by Spirit.

1435 – Minor Update

Release Date: Nov. 09, 2011

  • Battle Arena
    • You now gain 1% Damage Resist per 50 Defense on equipment.
    • The skill [Invisible Armor] is changed to give 5 Equipment Defense per level, and 1% Damage Resist per 3 levels.

  • A few minor bugs are fixed.

  • Pet Food in Fishing is now limited to 3 per day.

    • You can now have an Invisible Ally to fight with you!
    • Invisible Allies can be obtained as rare loot drops from monsters.

1438 – Invisible Ally Pt. 2

  • Battle Arena
    • Bestiary Bonus is changed.
      • Level 1: 1.05x EXP (old: 1.10x)
      • Level 2: 1.10x EXP (old: 1.20x)
      • Level 3: 1.20x EXP (old: 1.40x)
      • Level 4: 1.35x EXP (old: 1.60x)
      • Level 5: 1.50x EXP (old: 1.80x)
      • Level 6: 1.75x EXP (old: 2.00x)
    • You can gain up to 20% 1.20x EXP from monsters based on that monster’s Ally EXP. The ally doesn’t need to be equipped for this bonus to work.
    • Some Invisible Ally abilities are modified.
    • [Secret Crystal], [THE MEGABOSS], [Chuck Norris] and [Boss of DOOOOOOM] Invisible Allies are now less common.
    • Invisible Ally buffs no longer overwrite your current buff.

    • You can continue to use Energy Drinks and Pet Food from Fishing for 20% of their effects after their daily limits are reached.
    • Idling Fishing is now faster.

    • Maximum Fatigue is raised to 3,000.
  • Pet
    • You can now gain up to 100% extra EXP / Coins from the Progress Bar based on your Pet Level. This is an additive bonus (if you have a level 100 pet and all achievements, you will gain 3x rewards, not 4x).

    • Secret Dungeon is rebalanced.
      • Pixel bonus from first 2 treasure chests is reduced.
      • To–be–Nerfed Gem’s drop rate is reduced, but you have a chance to get 2 per kill. The reduction is more significant if Anti–Curse is used.
      • Final Chamber’s location is now revealed after the 3rd chest opened.
      • If you don’t use Anti–Curse Potion, you gain 100 additional points.
      • You can now attempt Secret Dungeon on Hardcore! If Hardcore is turned on, you gain 300 additional points! You may not use Hardcore and Anti–Curse at the same time.
      • Holy Glory Armor now lasts 45 days if obtained on Casual without Anti–Curse, and permanent if obtained on Hardcore without Anti–Curse. Previously obtained ones remain permanent.
      • High score is now tracked in the savefile.
      • Monsters in the Secret Dungeon now drop Chaotic Fragments of Chaos! It has a 0.2% chance to drop from regular monsters, 2% from bosses, 100% from Chaos, and CHAOS drops 5 of them! These will be used for future crafts.

    • [Immortal Pendant]’s required rank is now [your rank when you loot it + 1], capped at 500.
    • The level cap of Bronze / Silver / Gold / Platinum Pendants is doubled. Does not apply to previously obtained ones.
    • Growth Rocks now add +5 to level cap.
    • Special Relics are now 25% cheaper.
    • As a thank–you gift for your patience, everyone who is at least level 200 or ascended before this update is given 3,000 Event Tokens.

Equipment drops in Secret Dungeon only last 45 days (Life Rocks allowed) unless obtained on Hardcore difficulty. However, you are more likely to find good quality items. Old items remain unaffected.
    • Unique Enhancers are changed to work only on [+10] and fully–leveled items. Weapon Unique Enhancers can only raise a weapon up to 3000 ATT, and Armor Unique Enhancers can only raise an armor piece up to 1800 DEF.
    • Reward list for throwing To–be–Nerfed Gems is revamped. You can only throw 10 at a time, but the Shift button can be used for quick throwing. You may not throw To–be–Nerfed Gems until Lv. 1500 on Impossible ascensions.
  • Stadium
    • Betting now gives 3x reward if you win. You are able to bet a maximum of 20,480,000 Coins and 400 Stadium Tokens.
    • Items have a chance to appear mid–air.
    • Y key can now be used for attacking in Death Match. However, you cannot use both Z and Y. The key you press first (either Z or Y) will be chosen as the attack key and cannot be changed during the match.
  • Cards are now capped at 999. Yes, the things from Legendary Boxes.
