It’s only a matter of time before item prices go back to their former value. Once the not-banned bot accounts sell out all of their resources and the panic and turmoil stops, the economy will be back on its feet.

Why would they? They’re useless, and not even cool looking. Most useless items are cool looking which corresponds to their high price. Un-cool looking items do not just rise for no reason. Unless a million lame people join runescape and then buy them. If not, they’re not going to rise, they’re going to slowly go down.

You’re both wrong. Price is determined by supply/demand, and clue scrolls = supply, are always found, and free players will always buy them = demand, as they’re the best(i.e. most expensive = status symbol) you can buy in f2p. And there are new rs members (supply) and new rs free players (demand) added each day.
Of course there is some fluctuation, natural and artificial, e.g. when Jagex adds more items to the treasure trail drop list, what directly influences the relative percentage of f2p sellable items found, and maybe slightly when they add limited offers or the like, what temporarily leads to more members and changs the f2p/p2p ratio over a certain time.
But what they certainly won’t do is slowly rise or fall, i.e. only in one direction

I highly doubt that: Wine of Zamorak costs approx 2205gp, that divided by 3,500,000 = 1587.
In 30 minutes there are 1800 seconds, 1800 divided by 1587 = 1.1.
So, assuming you manage to find a Wine of Zamorak that respawns in less than 1 and half seconds I’d say you were a bit innacurate, at the fastest possible time they take 22.5 seconds to respawn.
Also, if it were possible to make 168m in a day everybody would be doing it.
