[DEV] 9/28/2011 Purity Expansion Release!

The Righteous seek to purge the Blight that has befallen Acheron, but at what cost?

Here is the breakdown of the release in case you missed our announcment last week.

- Brand new playable Faction “Righteous”
- New 50 card pack purchasable with War Bonds.
- In addition, 20 cards have been added to the Gold pack (mostly Righteous)
- 14 New reward cards Available through Reputation or Achievements
- 28 New Missions
- 10 New Achievements
- 4 New Skills
- 9 Max Energy Upgrades (7 unlocked by level and purchasable with Gold, 2 purchasable with War Bonds)

Based on the Feedback we have gotten we decided to rotate Gold Packs and Purity Packs tournaments in the 2 hour slot, since Gold Packs will also technically be a new Tournament format for players to try. The new tournament line up will not begin until after the current scheduled tournaments (including the ones under “Next Up:”

Also in some browsers, players may be noticing a bug purchasing War Bonds where they don’t appear right away. That is just a visual bug and the War Bonds will be there after a refresh or making a purchase with them (we suggest refreshing first). We have also fixed a few other bugs.

We hope you guys enjoy all of Purity while we work on whats next for Tyrant :)

This is the best release ever, seriously.

Really useful posts guys. Now..about the game…I seem to have problems with the upgrades. I had to refresh like 2 times to buy each upgrade.

@Fretojota what browser are you using?

Bought the 2 WB upgrades, and 3 packs of Purity.

Looking forward to coming home today, since I get paid, I’m gonna get another batch of WB.

I’m shooting for Deacon and Benediction.

It seems to have to do with the order of the upgrades. I tried buying horizontally (that is…I buy the top left one…then the top right one…then the row below) and it did not work. I had to refresh. When I refreshed I was able to buy the first one but not the second one. I refreshed again…it did not work. That is when I tried buying vertically and it worked (that is…I bought the left row first…and then the second row.) Weird huh?

Does the protect skill nullify the damage an attacking unit receives on Counter?

Same problem as Fretojota, also Firefox.

Same here too. Firefox 3.6.18

Edit: not exactly the same: I can’t buy anything, no matter how im playing with the order of purchases.

Anyone know the level requirements for each energy upgrade? I only see the last as lvl 100..

Thank you devs for banning the bots factions again. Hopefully your action this time was more decisive in terms of preventing his shifting of the bots to new factions. If pescado doesn’t resurface soon with a new army then I will be happily sending $100 your way.

Have the botting accounts been banned as well? Or will they reform in another faction and continue to bot like they have done over and over again in the past after getting their factions “locked”?

and no WBs as expected… greedy devs… rally greedy.

Thank you for giving F2P players the option to regularly participate in tournaments.

Energy expansions also look promising for raids. Though it means raids like Oluth will be completed almost immediately.

Farmed this morning so i didn’t have a huge energy kick start but the missions initially look good. :)

HoF and Sunca banned???
