Resources

The devs are also considering making resources buyable; commented prices are 2500 Gold or 1 WB each. It’s unknown if only one resource is awarded each time, or if you receive a random number of resources . Resources are listed in the format ID: Name.

Mission Resources

  • 1: Casing.
  • 2: Power Supply.
  • 3: Motor.
  • 4: Piston.
  • 5: Cell Chamber.
  • 6: Pulse Core.

These resources come from Missions. Not all missions currently have a listed chance of giving a resource. Those that do have a 1-4% chance of giving a resource or two. Later missions tend to give higher resource IDs.

Raid Resources

  • 51: Enclave Beacon.
  • 52: Quantum Beacon.
  • 53: Nexus Beacon.
  • 54: Gorgon Beacon.
  • 55: Infested Beacon.

These resources come from Raids. The more Honor, the higher the chance of earning a resource (up to 90%), and the higher the resource ID.

Faction Resources

  • 101: Generator.
  • 102: Fusion Generator.
  • 103: Artemis Generator.

These resources come from Factions (not sure how often they are awarded). Higher-level factions have a higher chance of awarding resources (Level 15 = 30%, 10%, and 1% chance for the three resource), and have access to higher resource IDs.

Tournament Resources

  • 151: Capacitor.
  • 152: Hive Capacitor.

These resources come from tournaments. The probability of gaining a resource is as follows:

  • Top 1%: 90% chance.
  • Top 5%: 75% chance.
  • Top 10%: 50% chance.
  • Top 25%: 25% chance.

Everyone in the same tourney recieves the same resource; otherwise it is random which resource is awarded.

Daily Chance Resource

  • 201: Gateway Node.

May appear in Daily Chance crates. The weight is 0.2, which should work out to just under 4%.

Blueprints

Resources are used to make items via blueprints. The devs are considering making these items buyable for Gold and/or WBs as well, though the figures in the comments (5000 Gold or 10 WB) are unlikely to be final values.

Cards

  • Heracles: Piston x75, Artemis Generator x50, Nexus Beacon x150, Capacitor x100, Fusion Generator x300, Gateway Node x20.
  • Longshot: Pulse Core x25, Power Supply x50, Artemis Generator x20, Quantum Beacon x75, Capacitor x50, Gateway Node x10.
  • Obliterator: Motor x35, Fusion Generator x100, Generator x250, Gorgon Beacon x50, Hive Capacitor x20, Gateway Node x10.
  • Diablo: Cell Chamber x20, Piston x20, Fusion Generator x150, Hive Capacitor x10, Enclave Beacon x25, Gateway Node x5.
  • Forsaken: Casing x10, Capacitor x5, Generator x50, Infested Beacon x10, Gateway Node x2.

Other Items

  • Full Energy Refill: Motor x30, Power Supply x30, Quantum Beacon x25, Gateway Node x2.
  • 25k Gold Chest: Piston x35, Power Supply x25, Capacitor x25, Gateway Node x5.

There are also “50 Energy Refill” items, but those have been commented out.

Here’s a breakdown of honor tiers and its probabilities for the new rewards:

25 honor = 10% for Enclave Beacon
30 honor = 20% for Enclave Beacon
40 honor = 30% for Enclave Beacon
55 honor = 50% for Enclave Beacon
65 honor = 10% for Quantum Beacon
75 honor = 25% for Quantum Beacon
85 honor = 50% for Quantum Beacon
95 honor = 10% for Nexus Beacon
110 honor = 50% for Nexus Beacon
120 honor = 75% for Nexus Beacon
130 honor = 10% for Gorgon Beacon
140 honor = 25% for Gorgon Beacon
150 honor = 50% for Gorgon Beacon
160 honor = 75% for Gorgon Beacon
170 honor = 10% for Infested Beacon
180 honor = 25% for Infested Beacon
190 honor = 50% for Infested Beacon
200 honor = 75% for Infested Beacon
225 honor = 90% for Infested Beacon

If you figure 2 damage per energy and 12 lost farm Gold per Energy, costs are as follows:

Enclave Beacon: 6,000 Gold
Quantum Beacon: 7,200 Gold
Nexus Beacon: 7,200 Gold
Gorgon Beacon: 12,000 Gold
Infested Beacon: 13,333 Gold

Unless somehow they’re awarded per-battle?

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.
20 Daily Chance items for Heracles. Not happening.
Also… 100 tourney entries, at least… Not happening either.
Images taken from War Metal, but knowing Synapticon it’ll be no surprise if they reuse them.

or Capacitator
Hive Capacitator

Gentlemen,
I think I’m gonna wind up leaving as well.

Shit just got real is seems. I no longer have any idea what I am grinding for!

Flag Post

So we have to build up these creatures and rewards ourselves?

This will be…interesting…

So basically, we’ll have another currency system.

Get grinding!

okay i am out. This game is getting too ridiculous.

I am not even going to bother to continue playing from now on.

Send me a private message if this lame idea is scrapped.

I do find quite of a bit of a problem here.

For the raid components, what if already reached full honor for almost all of the raids already? This means we have to grind raids for useless additional armor to acquire beacons?

I see this as a terrible grinding method IMO. Players probably won’t have the willpower to grind raids that already have max honor on that raid.

The great thing about how they introduced raids/missions/tournaments/factions is that it pretty much gives everyone at least one thing they like. I for example don’t do tournaments due to time restraints, however I don’t mind raiding (except the ancient raids, those sucked). This is annoying due the the fact that they are making players do every aspect of their game, instead of tweaking the current format to be more enjoyable.

Flag Post

If indeed only one component is awarded at a time, the blueprints stay as they are, and components are unbuyable, then 100% of the cards will be obsolete by the time anybody manages to get enough components to buy them. For example, it will take > 25 days on average to get a Gateway Node, so it will take 500 days on average to get enough of them to build Heracles.

Flag Post

You’ve got to be kidding me. Did they just add an exponential amount of grinding?
This is ridiculous.

So to get Heracles, you need to:
• Join approximately 250 tournaments
• Win approximately 5,000 faction battles
• Complete a raid approximately 225 times
• Win 20 Gateway Nodes from Daily Chance crates
• Grind a mission 1,500 times

If you didn’t have a reason to quit before, I think this is it…

Maybe at max honor, it is a 90% chance to be awarded a beacon component per successful fight?

That would seem more reasonable if they implemented this way. Otherwise, it’s going be a long time for grinding raids.

lol I tried that and it was the worst game i’ve seen on Kong, right under Tdp4.

This is too complicated. Yes, I do want Heracles, but not for that much. I’ll stick with Omega if it’s that high. At least it’s easier to get homeworld packs and don’t have to pay for refills.
