This error may be caused from a failure to load the entire page properly or incompatible third-party browser add-ons. The download version found on the first page may fix this problem if it persists.

SimTyrant v1.108
• “Weaken on Attacked” no longer targets the attacker
• Updated with upcoming Occupation 3 cards

Anyone else having issues with the latest version of the java sim? Can’t seem to get it to cooperate, freezing up for me no matter which browser or what I try to sim.

Try closing Tyrant and other games and software and possibly even reboot your machine. If it still persists after a reboot, let me know. For the record, I’m not having these freezing issues.

I am having the same issue as Kheremos. I was simulating my decks to see which one was best for (in my case) Mission 86. Three out of my four decks worked fine, but the last deck kept crashing the simulator. I then compared my last deck with the first three decks to see what could be causing the issue. I eliminated any common cards between the decks and then narrowed it to the card “Trident”.

To test whether this card was the cause of the crashing I took the card, placed it in one of the previous decks that only had nine cards and that deck crashed as well. I ran a couple other tests and I came to this conclusion (I didn’t test for everything but this is what I found):
- A commander + Trident = worked fine
- A commander + Trident + Another card(s) = crashes

Oh I forgot to add that I did test for other missions as well. The issue seems to be related to the Trident card.

The default “Number of Simulations” can be 1000 or more?

Thanks. It seems to be an issue with the Immobilized status effect causing an infinite loop. I’ll correct this in the next update.

EDIT: Fixed in SimTyrant v1.109

Not everyone has a fast computer/browser. A higher default number will most likely cause more general complaints, especially that of the variety where the simulator starts “glitching” at a higher number of simulations. I suppose I can add cookies to save your preferred number of simulations or something though.

Oh yes, forgot that, 100 is ok.

And using cookies would be good, save the last used number of tests and then when the user opens the page again (without a generated link) automatically sets that saved number.

Actually, if you bookmark the following url, the default number of simulations will be 1000:
http://haileon.com/SimTyrantJS?sims=1000

Brilliant suggestion lol.

Brilliant suggestion lol.

Usually, I generate some links like that when I need to test a lot of mission decks. :p

For example,
Mission 228 (auto):
http://haileon.com/SimTyrantJS?mission=316&sims=1000

Mission 228 (ordered):
http://haileon.com/SimTyrantJS?ordered=1&mission=316&sims=1000

The “Generate Link” function is really useful XD

I think the new unreleased missions are messing up the simulator. I’ll review this problem in a bit.
EDIT: I guess due to the large number of cards and missions, my automatic script to update the simulator’s mission data failed to complete properly, causing the simulator to crash. This has been fixed.

Should be better to have 2 versions of the SimTyrant, one stable/default with kg XMLs and the other with dev XMLs.

http://haileon.com/SimTyrantJS?xml=kg
http://haileon.com/SimTyrantJS?xml=dev

Not needed to make another page or clone code, just add a request “xml” so the user can use the XML of his choice, also you will have to add some links to the 2 versions of the sim, would be very useful to test new missions and cards in development.

Good idea. I can do something like that. Although the download version is always stable.

Uff very nice to see some progress in this business. Sadly EvaluatedDecks by Netrat doesn’t seem to get any more support which I can understand. However, good work on this ;)

At first, thanks a lot for this wonderful js simulator.

One thing, is there any possibility to enable sending simulation results to the tyrant fansite http://tyrant.40in.net/kg/ ?
