There’s 625 squares. 140 of them are protected and shared by the level 10 or less factions. The lvl 16+ factions own 381 squares. BW and TRH own 56 and are within 50 FP of being level 16. That’s 90% of the 485 non protected squares owned by the factions over 15 plus the 2 factions less than a week way.
The other 110 factions between level 11 and 15 have to share the 48 squares left. No wonder it sucks to be in a mid range faction. The lowbie factions can recruit level 100 players and dominate the edges. The top 15 factions can recruit high level players and dominate the mid, then just agree to hold with 21+ tiles each and eat up the remainder of the board.
If you’re going to make a quarter of the board off limits to 100+ factions then you might as well go ahead and go all the way and make lvl 15 max squares too, for the large number of players that don’t want to join a lowbie faction but also can’t get into a top 15 faction. You know, the middle 100 factions that are hating Conquest so far because they have half a tile on average each.
Between rank 20th and 30th, 8 of those 11 factions have zero tiles (and 1 had exactly 1 tiles). Among the next 20 ranked factions 15 have zero tiles. Among the next 20, 19 have zero tiles. And then 38 of the next 40 are also locked out. Then they get to watch lowbie factions thriving because of protected tiles, building double digit sized tile empires safely out of reach of the people who kicked them off the board.
If you guys aren’t considering splitting the maps up, at least consider adding lvl 15 protected tiles next time. It’s basically like we’re punished for being above level 10 because we take a full load of risks with no benefits.

Well put, I was thinking exactly this.

True, lvl12 (soon to be 13) isn’t much fun, since we don’t have attack upgrades, but the top15 have Attack and Defense upgrades, so where are the tiles for us?! (Congrats to BAD BEAT for holding tiles in this ridiculous situation, though)

So map size is bigger now and guess what? the only difference is now it’s factions 30 and below complaining instead of 20 and below…
Can we have a serious discussion about regular resets now? A lump sum of tokens at each reset period (in addition to current tokens) based on tile points seems like a reasonable tradeoff…
